APT Online: myclass Wins Monster Stack; canbo Bags 3rd Win; Artur Martirosian Leads Championships Event

The 15-day long Asian Poker Tour (APT) Online Series 2nd Edition has already paid out $8 million. Yesterday, the $10 million GTD wrapped up its Day 12, crowning several big winners, including Sweden’s “myclass” and Hong Kong’s “canbo“. myclass shipped the 2-day Monster Stack $100K gtd, while canbo became the only player to register a third win. Let us take a look at the top results:

Championships Event $1 million GTD

The Main Event of the series is already in the books but another highlight event, the APT Online Championships Event $1 million GTD featuring $800 buy-in, kicked off yesterday. Running between 25 to 28 June, the 14-flight event has already completed four flights with a total field of 331 entries. Only 66 players have survived from these flights with Artur Martirosian being the overall chip leader with 841,850 chips. Following him are ‘COL_Moutarde’ with 715K and ‘JeeyTy’ with 679K chips.

Monster Stack $250K GTD

Another event to kick off yesterday was the $ 200 buy-in Monster Stack $250K GTD that drew 276 entries across two starting flights. 13 more flights remain for the event. Only 81 players progressed to the final day to be played out on 28 June. Hong Kong’s Vincent Kwun Ngai Li aka ‘Peleus34’ amassed a stack of 291,486 to become the overall chip leader. He is followed by ‘davidhe’ with 151,057 chips.

Event 156: Monster Stack $100K GTD

After more than 4 hours of grinding, the Swedish player ‘myclass’ shipped the $ 200 buy-in Monster Stack to claim the APT Online Monster Stack title for $18,179 in prize money. The event pulled in 533 entries across the six starting flights out of which only 153 remaining players made it to the final day. While the top 71 players finished ITM, it was ‘myclass’ who knocked ‘Mario.Zwanzleitner’ in heads-up to ship it and the latter finished second for $12,958. Indian player ‘gm.ind’ finished 7th for $2,741.

Event 180: High Roller $75K GTD

The $1,000 buy-in High Roller saw ‘TheGreatDanton’ coming out on top of a field of 76 runners to claim the top prizemoney of $18,201, which was the largest prize of the day. While the tournament paid out top 11 places, it was ‘TheGreatDanton’ who outlasted ‘MarkHateley’ in heads-up to grab the largest share of the prizepool. The runner-up ‘MarkHateley’ walked away with $13,865 for his finish.

Event 172: Pot Limit Omaha $10KGTD

Hong Kong’s “canbo” became the first player to win three events at the series. canbo’s latest win came in the $100 buy-in Pot Limit Omaha where he defeated a total field of 111 entries, including “bnet01” in heads-up to bank $2,348 in top prize . canbo nearly made it to four wins finishing 2nd to potlords420 at Event 178 Pot Limit Omaha. canbo’s previous wins came in Event 50 & Event 147.

The tournament generated $ 10,212 in prizepool that was eventually shared by top 17 players.
