Deltin Online Poker Tournament ( DOPT) Concludes with 1248 Entries on Last Day, Rohit ‘tentop’ Bhalla Takes Down the Main Event for INR 1080000

India’s largest poker site-Adda52`s flagship tournament series ‘Deltin Online Poker Tournament (DOPT) Season 2’ running from 25th to 29^th May has been a grand success with impressive turnouts across several events. The 5- day series attracted a total of 6457 entries and distributed INR 10353830 in total prize pool across 34 events. On its final day, the DOPT featured 7 crucial events, which attracted a total of 1248 entries, awarding more than 10 lacs in total cash prizes. The biggest event on the final day was the DOPT PLO Showdown wherein Hitendra‘hdwankhede’ Wankhede emerged winner after beating Jaikiran ‘jeditriv’Kumar. Hitendra won the top prize of INR 167500 for his efforts.

The highlight event of the series was a 40 Lac guaranteed Main Event wherein, after a fight of over 8 hours, Rohit ‘tentop’ Bhalla emerged the champion to take INR 1080000-the largest cash of his career on Adda52.com. In heads-up, he defeated Ayush ‘ayush706’ Munot who finished 2^nd for INR 680000. In this tournament, a total of 18 players were paid out  with a min-cash of INR 40000 going to ‘mitulmehta’ for making 18^th place finish. Aside from the top prize, the winner Rohit ‘tentop’ Bhalla also claimed ‘Goa play & stay package’ for his top-notch performance.

The series also featured a 20 lac guaranteed DOPT High Roller, which took place on 26^th May and attracted a total of 91 entries. It was Raj ‘phanthom’ S who finally outlasted a 91-entry field and took down the title for an impressive INR 640640 in the top prize. In heads-up, he defeated Yash ‘marvadilonda’ Brijwasi whose 7h-5d lost to phanthom’s Ah-5s on the board reading 5h-7d-2c-Kh-As. Apart from the first-place prize money, Raj. S also won the Goa Play & Stay Package for his efforts.

While DOPT Main Event and High Roller were the biggest attractions in DOPT series, it also had a Mini Millions event, which featured 10 lac GTD for a small buy-in of INR 5000. The Mini Millions attracted a total of 198 entries and outlasting them was Tulika ‘tulu1010’Bhatnagar. Tulika won INR 320000-the first place prize for his wonderful show in the tournament. In the heads-up play, Tulika defeated a tough opponent Vasudev ‘VasuShrest’ Shrest who won INR 195000 for runner-up finish. The winner ‘tulu1010’ also won ‘Goa play & stay package’ for his grand victory in this tournament.

The DOPT series kicked off on 25^th May with the biggest event of the opening day- DOPT 5 Lac Blaze , which saw a total of turn-out of 222 entries. After a tough battle of several hours, Mohit ‘rekovisa’ Kumar took down the title for INR 166500 along with Goa Play & Stay Package. In a tough heads-up battle, he defeated Sanjay ‘s4pp4s’ B S who settled down for the 2^nd place prize money INR 105450.

DOPT Leaderboard

The Deltin Online Poker Tournament also featured a 1 Lac Leaderboard, which saw a tough fight for the 1^st place between rocky129 (Rakesh Karadi) and bml2012 (Banmanlang WarrLyndem). Finally, it was rocky129 who won the battle to top the DOPT leaderboard with a total of 307 points, winning the top prize money of 31750 instant bonus. bml2012 ended his fight finishing 2^nd with 299 points and settled for 20750 in the prize money. gameank123 remained 3^rd on the DOPT Leaderboard with 249 points and was awarded with 13250 in prize. ‘gmtesting’ and ‘hdwankhede’ claimed 4^th and 5^th place on the leaderboard.
