Dhaval Mudgal Wins Adda52 -APT Satellite, Rs.3 Lakh APT Package

apt-WinnersDhaval ‘dirtyzoso’ Mudgal won the Adda52 and APT Manila Satellite to win a Rs.3 Lakh APT Package including airfare to Manila. Mudgal starred across a packed poker field of 31 players and after 3 hours of grueling poker action, won the first ever online poker satellite to an Asian Poker Tour Event conducted on an Indian poker site.

The three step satellite conducted by Adda52 with APT Manila culminated into the finals on 20th Sept. The initial steps had been conducted from 9th to 18th Sept while Step 2 happened between 18th to 20th Sept. 11 players had got direct, complimentary entry from Step 2 while 20 others used the direct buy-in of Rs. 10,000 to Step 3.

The mega finale that dealed off at 10 PM saw action start on 5  nine handed tables. It was a hard fought event as ‘dirtyzoso’ doubled up soon and remained in the top stacks through the tournament. The top 3 players finished in the money with ‘luckyspewy’ coming third and getting Rs. 20000 cash while Neeru786 winning Rs. 30000 for his second place.

Dhaval Mudgal is a known name in the Indian poker scene and also a regular at the Asian Poker Tour. He wins seats to five events of the APT Manila which takes off from October 9 at the Resorts World Casino. Apart from the Main Event buy-in, he also won the buy-ins to the High Rollers Event, Head Hunters Event, No Limit Hold’em and Six Handed Event. The tournament will span across a week and Mudgal also has his airfare paid by virtue of winning this Adda52-APT Satellite.

    Unfortunately my luck didn’t favor 🙁 lost out very early but watched the tournament till the end. The winners played quite well.
