DOPT Day 3: Gokul Jayakumar Aka ‘Colt45’ Takes Down DOPT Millions for INR 450000

The special edition of Adda52’s flagship tournament series – Deltin Online Poker Tournament (DOPT) is currently underway and has moved successfully into 4^th day, attracting impressive participation across a variety of exciting tournaments. The 10-day poker fiesta which boasts of INR 2 Crores + in prize pool across 76 tourneys and a free ticket to WPT India Main Event from 10th to 13^th November to its leaderboard topper. This special series has been running from 20^th October and has attracted a total of 3727 entries across last three days, creating a whopping prize pool of INR 4777056 till now.

While the DOPT has crowned 23 champions till now, the last Sunday night saw the rollout of its DOPT Millions which featured a hefty INR 15 Lacs in the prize pool and attracted a total of 181 entries. Besting them all was the online player Gokul ‘colt45’ Jayakumar who won the title after beating Vinneeth Kancherla aka ‘kvinx1’ in the heads-up battle who pocketed INR 285000 for his 2^nd place finish in this tourney. The winner ‘colt45’ walked away with a top prize money of INR 450000 for his grand show.

On the final hand of the tournament with blinds running 12500/25000, the online grinder ‘kvinx1’open- raised with Kd-Jc and ‘colt45’ called the action with 2d-7d. The flop 7c-7h-6d was a call-call. The turn saw a third 7. The river was Kh. While ‘kvinx1’ hit a pair of kings on the river, ‘colt45’ took down the coveted title with four of a kind, pocketing a cool INR 450000 for his grand win.
