It was a blockbuster Friday on Adda52 with the site’s Nano Poker Series (NPS) playing host to eight events on its Day 5. The series headliner, 35 Lac GTD Nano Main Event, ran its fifth starting flight, i.e., Day 1E yesterday. The flight pulled in 251 entries, and only 33 of them could advance to Day 2 of the event. Leading the survivors was Sanjay Mohan aka ‘smr1g10’ (359,709), with Abhishek ‘abbbyy’ Gupta (334,884) and Karan ‘karannthakker’ Thakker (238,257) rounding out top 3 stacks of the day.
There were a total of seven winners crowned on Day 5 of the NPS. The most prominent winner among them was Parth Trivedi aka “BobbyAxelrod” who defeated a guarantee-crushing field of 410 entries, including “rapunzel” (2nd for INR 37,393) in the heads-up battle to win INR 44,886.
22.5 Lac GTD The Ballers
The biggest tourney to crown a winner on the site was the 22.5 Lakhs GTD The Ballers. The event logged in 313 entries ponying up INR 7,500 entry buy-in. Starting out at 8 PM, the event lasted for over 8 hours and when the dust settled, it was online MTT reg in Srihari Bang aka ‘zombieballs’ , who eventually shipped it for INR 5.62 Lac. Also on the podium were online regs in Arun ‘arusharma’ Sharma (runner-up for INR 3.40 Lac) and Siddarth ‘badtameez_donk’ Singhvi (3rd for INR 2.47 Lac).
5 Lac GTD Running Hot
The Running Hot logged in 270 entries, collecting a guarantee-crushing INR 5.40 Lac in prize pool. Last month’s WPT Online India Super Stack winner, Saahib ‘saahib’ Bawa , shipped the tourney for 1.13 Lac, following a heads-up deal with Akshay ‘Iamyourdad01’ Kapoor (runner-up for INR 1.10 Lac).
