GPI Player of the Year Race: Volpe Snatches Back the Top Spot from Watson

Paul vAfter losing the top spot to Mike Watson last week in Global Poker Index (GPI) Player of the Year race, Paul Volpe has made a comeback and snatched back the number one position.  His performances at World Poker Tour Seminole Hard Rock Showdown’s High Roller Event and Main Event were good enough to help him to regain the first place in the list.

American pro, Micah Raskin is the only new player who break into the list of top ten players. Ruskin won the High Roller Event at Berlin Cup this year. Another player who worth a mention here is Kevin Eyster. Though he did not make it into the top ten players but he took a huge leap and jumped from 628th to 66th position. Eyster is the winner of 2013 WPT Seminole Hard Rock Showdown Main Event.
