After the conclusion of the super successful Adda52 Online Poker Series (AOPS) on Sunday night, the action on adda52.com slowed down a little on Monday. While there were several high-value events on the Monday schedule, headlining the action was the 12.5 Lac GTD Inception that pulled in 472 entries, easily crushing its specified guarantee and resulting in a hefty INR 15.10 Lac prizepool. After several hours of intense fights, it was the well known pro Kartik ‘Pegasus1505’ Ved who came out on top to win INR 3.70 Lac prize, after outlasting Vaibhav ‘vaibsaarav’ Shah (runner-up for INR 2.19 Lac).
Ved is a very respected name in the Indian circuit and holds an impressive resume with $377,989 in live earnings. Currently ranked 15th in India All Time Money List, he is as good online as he is live and has already won several marquee online events, including Godfather, The Ballers and various other popular tourneys on Adda52. Last night, he added one more win to his name by shipping Inception.
Ved not only won the Inception but also made it to the final table in Adda52’s 2.5 Lac GTD Hexagram, finishing 6th for INR 13,230. On his way to the victory, Ved outlasted a tough final table that had big names like Harsh Dembla (4th for INR 1,13,280), Pranay Chawla (5th for INR 75,520) and Vaibhav Sharma (7th for INR 41,536). Top 49 were paid out in the tournament with a min-cash of INR 8,307. Among other well-known pros to finish deep were Pranav Khandalkar (12th) and Sumit Sapra (20th).
