Uday Bansal Wins Philippines’s Largest Poker Tournament PS Festival Manila Main Event

The inaugural PokerStars Festival Manila, which proved the biggest international tournament in the history of Philippines saw many champions walking away with the life-changing prize money.The biggest winner of the series was the Indian player Uday Bansal from Delhi who beat a huge field of 594 runners in the Main Event to take home a massive ₱4,676,000 59.24 Lacs) in the prize money. Siddarth Singhvi Ships ₱16,500 No-Limit Hold’em – Bubble Rush for ₱280,000 on his Birthday

Well-known on India’s poker circuit, Siddarth Singhvi also managed to clinch a title for India by taking down ₱16,500 No-Limit Hold’em – Bubble Rush event, outlasting the 66-entry field for ₱280,000 on his birthday. Nipun Java Wins Event #1 of 2017 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open For $230,849

This year has been tremendous  for the Indian-origin player Nipun Java who won two WSOP titles this year. He was back in the headlines at Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open (SHRPO),one of North America’s largest and most prestigious tournaments, for his victory in the $570 Deep Stack (Re-Entry) event which he claimed for an impressive $230,849. In online poker India, last week saw Adda52’s flagship monthly tournament- The Rich Race, which took place on 6th August attracted 769 entries. Outlasting them all was the well-known online poker player ‘kramer234’ who defeated Nagendra ‘Doravad’ Vadlamani in heads-up to win the title. Elliott Marais Wins the Biggest Ever GUKPT Goliath Tournament for £85,760

The recently concluded 2017 GUKPT Goliath was officially the biggest-ever live poker tournament to take place outside of Las Vegas. The event attracted staggering 6,385 entries, which took prize pool to a whopping £638,500.
