Sahil Chutani Finishes 11th in APPT National Event ; Canada’s Kristen Bicknell Wins APPT National High Roller

The popular Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) Macau 2018 is currently underway at the PokerStars LIVE poker room in the City of Dreams – Macau. The first event of the series – APPT National is now down to its final table. The event drew a strong field with 689 entries and had a lot of known poker faces, including several Indian players – Raghav Bansal (210,000), Ronak Vyas (100,000), Arjjun Singh (80,300), Adda52 pro – Kunal Patni (50,600), and Sahil Chutani (39,500), who all managed to make it to Day 2. The young-gun – Sahil Chutani came very close to the final table and finished 11th  for HK$78,200. Kolkata’s Arjjun Singh also ran deep and ended finishing 59th for HK$21,700.

Kristen Bicknell Takes Down APPT National High Roller for HK$2,192,000

The key highlight was the APPT National High Roller wherein Canada’s Kristen Bicknell created a history and became the first-ever female to win an APPT High Roller title in series’s history.

Team PartyPoker’s Bicknell defeated the former Global Poker Index (GPI) Player of the Year – David Peters to claim the top prize money of HK$2,192,000 ($279,549) for her stupendous performance.

On the last hand of the tournament, Bicknell had Ah-6s, while Peters held 9d-9s. The board was 10c- 5s-6c-6h-2d where Bicknell won the title and Peters ended as a runner-up for HK$1,480,160.
