Sunday AF: Hitesh Batra Wins Mega Suits; Aditya Sushant Ships Adda52 Millions

June 10 turned out to be the biggest day for online poker tournament players in India. Thanks to Adda52’s Sunday AF, which promised 67 Lac in cumulative prizepool across 6 super-value tourneys – 1 Lac GTD Sunday Warm-Up at 2 PM, 10 Lac GTD Juice at 4 PM, 30 Lac GTD Mega Suits at 6 PM, 20 Lac GTD Adda52 Millions at 8 PM, 5 Lac GTD Sunday Masters 9 PM and finally 1 Lac GTD Sunday Showdown at 11 PM. All tourneys concluded successfully with impressive turnouts and prizepools.

While many players did well on the online felts, headlining the action was Hitesh Batra aka ‘buntai’ who won Mega Suits for INR 10,09,500. Chennai pro – Aditya Sushant aka ‘A_Sushant’  continued his good run and won Adda52 Millions tourney for the third time, taking home impressive INR 7.5 Lac.

Sunday Warm UP

Sunday AF kicked off in style with its Sunday Warm, which drew a total of 157 entries and easily crushed the specified guarantee. It was Kasanova Aryan aka ‘Pranavcr07’ who came on top after defeating  ‘Warning87’ in heads-up. He defeated a very tough field to win a cool INR 65,245.

 The Juice

The next event in line was 10 Lac GTD Juice at just INR 999 buy-in. A total of  474 players came together to fight it out for the first place prize. In the end, it was Haresh Kukreja aka‘narcoss’ who won it for INR 2,45,000. Top 92 players were paid out in this event with a min-cash being INR 2000.

Mega Suits

The biggest tournament of Sunday AF was 30 Lac GTD Mega Suits with INR 10 Lac for 1st place. The mega event went on to become a grand success, drawing 673 entries and generating INR 37,01500 in prize pool, which was shared by top 63 players. The lion’s share INR 10,09,500 went to Hitesh Batra aka ‘buntai’, who came on top after defeating a tough field that included several pros, regulars, and the past champions. Batra defeated Abhishek Majumder aka ‘Chamisback’ in the heads-up play. It was by far the biggest online cash Batra won in his career playing on Adda52.com.

On the last hand of the tournament with blinds running 60k-80k, the eventual winner ‘buntai’ holding A-10 raised pre-flop and the player ‘chamisback’ moved all-in with K-J. On the board reading 10d 2d 5d 8s 5c, ‘buntai’ won the pot, eliminating ‘chamisback’ in second place.

Adda52 Millions

The second biggest event of Sunday was Adda52 Millions, a six-max tourney that drew a total of 212 entries to easily crush the guaranteed prize pool. The event saw several pros, regulars and the past champions battling it out for the first place prize of INR 7.5 Lac. In the end, it was the WSOP bracelet winner Aditya Sushant aka ‘A_Sushant’ who continued his good run and yet again emerged the victorious. It was the third Adda52 Millions win for Sushant. With this win and several ITM finishes this month, Sushant now leads the Crazy Leaderboard – VI.

The final hand took place between Sushant and his heads-up mate Varun Gulati aka ‘varungulati4u’. The former held Jc 6d and the latter had 3c 8c. The board was 2d Jh 3s 10s 7h. Aditya a Jack on the flop to take down the pot and notch up his 3rd Adda52 Millions victory.

We had an online chat with Sushant to know about his feeling on this win and he said: “This is my third win and it feels great. Looking forward to 4th win now!” He also added, “Sunday AF offered a little something for everybody and gave enough options to play throughout Sunday. I’m all for it.”

Sunday Masters

Then, came the second last event of Sunday night – Sunday Masters at 9 PM, a 5 Lac GTD tourney at 3500 buy-in, which drew 152 entries and easily crushed the specified guarantee. Outlasting the field in this event was the well-known Tarun Goyal aka ‘aggtarun’ who defeated ‘degen88’ in heads-up to win INR 1,45,000 for his grand win. The runner-up ‘degen88’ settled for a cool INR 97,500.

Sunday Showdown

The last event of Sunday night was 1 Lac GTD Sunday Showdown. The event drew a total of 122 entries, which took the prize pool to 1,22000. Coming on top in this event was the online player ‘bullzeyepower’ who won the event for INR 32,751. He defeated ‘13anurag’ in heads-up.
