Sushant Continues To Crush, Wins His 2nd Godfather After Winning Mega Suits Last Month

Yesterday being a Thursday night, it was yet again time for the 20 Lac GTD Godfather, an INR 5,500 buy-in tournament on India’s No.1 Poker Site – adda52.com. The flagship event drew a strong field with 416 entries to easily surpass the guarantee and generate a massive INR 20 Lac + in prizepool. Out of this giant amount, the top 43 places were paid out with min-cashes starting from INR 11,440.

Yesterday’s Godfather 8.0 started at the usual time of 8 pm and ended after a long grind of over 8 hours. Outlasting the field this time was none other than WSOP bracelet winner Aditya Sushant aka ‘A_Sushant’. In heads-up, he faced the past Godfather winner Suresh Kolli aka ‘insanium’ who fought well but could not go all the way, eventually finishing runner-up for INR 3,12,000. Sushant took home INR 5,15,840 in top prize and a seat into the 9 Lac Vegas Package SNG to be played on 5th May 2019.

It was by far the second Godfather win for the Chennai pro Sushant, who is the only player on Adda52 to have registered four Adda52 Millions wins. The player has been crushing since a long time on Adda52. Some of his other notable scores include his win in Hitman, Judwaa (twice) and Godfather 4.0, plus runner-up finish in Beast, Godfather 5.0, Whale, Roar, Blaze and Godfather 7.0.

The final table of yesterday’s Godfather was not easy one as it had some good regs in Suresh Kolli, Pranjal Gandhi (3^rd for INR 2,18,400), Rishi Suneja (4th for INR 1,66,400), Gaurav Bhandari (6^th for INR 72,800), and the online grinder ‘King0fMerge’ (7th for INR 57,200), who has won so many tournaments on Adda52, including Godfather, Adda52 Millions, OneTime and DOPT High Rollers back-to-back, apart from cashing all key events. Kiran Bhujel finished 8th for INR 46,800 in prize.

A total 43 places were paid. Some known regs to cash this prestigious event were ‘bothras’ (13^th for INR 26K), ‘skaria1’ (15^th for INR 20,800), ‘Ivey2’ ( 18^th for INR17,680), ‘ContemporisT’ (20^th for INR 17,680), ‘ragpok’ (22^nd for INR 15,600) and ‘Hammer_Head’ (42^nd for INR 11,440) to name a few.
