‘The toughest and most fun heads-up I have ever been in’: Akshay Nasa, Adda52 Millions Winner

The Adda52 Millions on India’s largest poker site – adda52.com is one of the most popular online poker tournaments in India with a big guarantee and an impressive first-place prize. You can find India’s top poker players participating in this tourney where a few walk away with grand prizes.

Yesterday, the INR 11K buy-in Adda52 Millions featuring a hefty INR 20 Lac GTD prizepool began at 8pm and ended at 4:20am. The 6-Max tourney saw a lot of pros, regulars and the past winners. A  total of 192 entries registered to play in it last night. You have to be one of the best in the business to be victorious in this tourney and last night, it was the young gun Akshay Nasa aka ‘vibaks’, who outlasted a strong field and a very tough final table to win the title for INR 6 Lac. A total of 15 players were paid out and the big prize pool allowed the final table players to take home 6-figure prizes.

Talking about his Adda52 Millions victory, Nasa said, “It feels good to win this tourney. Adda52 Millions is one of the best-structured poker tournaments you can play on an Indian site on a Sunday.”

Nasa is not new to winning poker tournaments online, as the player has also topped the Adda52’s Crazy Leaderboard VI. It was the 2nd Adda52 Millions win for him as he also won the event in July this year. In yesterday’s Adda52 Millions, he beat a tough final table that included Sahil Chutani aka ‘bluffme19’, ‘KingOfMerge’, Abhishek Garg aka ‘thegrinder’, and Goonjan Mall aka ‘gmstesting’.

Nasa faced the well-known Sahil Chutani in heads-up. Although the latter began with the chip lead, it was Nasa who eventually won the battle. On the last hand of the event, Nasa raised with Qs Kc and Sahil holding 8h 8d moved all-in for 17,25,034 and Nasa called. The board ran out 6d Qc 2h Kd 10s to give Nasa two pairs to win the pot. Sahil settled for INR 3.45 Lac for his 2nd place finish.

Talking about the final table and heads-up, Nasa said, “It was really the toughest FT I ever-played. I played pretty bad 4-handed in a few spots and became the shortest stack and kept on winning flips and delivering badbeats. I should have gone out on 3rd, but luckily I won the event. It was the toughest and most fun heads-up I have been in. I just won two major flips and got super lucky to win the heads-up.”
