World Poker Tour (WPT) National Korea Cancelled

The World Poker Tour ( WPT) National Korea scheduled for March 17-21 at Paradise Casino at Jeju Grand has been cancelled. The reason for this unfortunate casualty has been cited as the escalating tension between China and South Korea over the deployment of a U.S. missile defense system.Jeju_Grand_Hotel1_1_420__1489459768_51256

The rising pressure in China on travel companies compelled all major airlines operators to cut routes to South Korea. As a result, China Eastern Airlines and Spring Airlines have already stopped offering flight services between China and Jeju, which means the WPT National Korea scheduled for March 17-21  will no longer be taking place.

As you may be aware, several major airline carriers have suspended air travel in the region. In the best interest of our players, the event will no longer be taking place.
