Playing poker for several years, Rahul Melwani is a well-known face on India’s poker circuit. The player has won several live tournaments, including WPT India Deep Turbo last year. He also finished runner-up in the 25K Bounty Event at DPT July 2017. Playing under ‘therealslowroller’ on adda52.com, Melwani has cashed across online poker tournaments such as Sunday Suits and Big Millions. However, this grand win in Gayle Storm 2.0 is his career’s biggest online score.

Expressing his feelings about his win, Melwani said, “It feels amazing to win in such a big field. Great value for money, especially with one bullet! It was my biggest online score till date.”

Talking about Gayle Storm, he said, “I would recommend everybody to play this tournament for the insane value it gives. Great fun playing this tournament..even heads up battle was fun.”

Talking about the field, the player said, “To be honest, the field was pretty soft, because it’s a low buy- in and a lot of entrants. I am glad that I played well and held my nerves when it mattered.”

Talking about the Gayle Storm 2.0 final table, he said, “Manish Adnani was pretty short and busted early. Overall, the FT was pretty soft .. but that is expected in such big fields and low buy ins.”

When asked about his plans for WPT India in November this year, he said, “Definitely going for WPT India. I won the WPT India Turbo Event last time, so it was a good experience for me.”
