While the World Poker Tour (WPT) Live events continue to be on hold for New Jersey players due to the ongoing COVID-19, the world’s premier poker brand is offering players in the garden state a shot at winning a WPT trophy in the WPT Online Poker Open powered by partypoker US Network.
On June 28, the World Poker Tour, BorgataPoker.com, and partypoker will be coming together for an exclusive online event for players in New Jersey. The $400 buy-in WPT Online Poker Open is a $300K Gtd that not only promises the winner a hefty payday but also an official WPT Champions’ Trophy, a World Poker Tour VIP experience in Las Vegas, and an $11,000 package that includes entry into the WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic at the Bellagio in Las Vegas and $600 in cash to pay for expenses.
There will be four daily qualifiers giving players a chance to win entry into the Main Event at just $5. Players will be able to compete in a daily $45 buy-in satellite at 7:30 pm ET on the partypoker US.
The WPT Online Poker Open is filled with 12 prelim events. Buy-ins for the prelim events start at the $5 and go upto the $320. Some major highlights of the upcoming poker fiesta include a $2,500 GTD R+A NLH for the $10 buy-in on June 22, a $7,500 GTD Green Chip Bounty for the $109 buy-in on June 23, a $20,000 GTD NLH for the $215 buy-in on June 24, and a $2,500 GTD R+A NLH for the $10 buy-in on June 25.
Other major events on the schedule of WPT Online Poker Open include the $15,000 GTD NLHE for the $215 buy-in on June 26, and a $15,000 GTD Black Chip Bounty featuring the $320 buy-in on June 27.
To participate, a player needs to be located inside of New Jersey. Players can choose their platform of choice between any of BorgataPoker.com, BetMGMPoker.com, or partypoker’s own NJ client.
