WSOP 2013 Satellites Launched: Anyone Can Qualify for Bracelet Events

wsopThe biggest tournament for poker players and fans, World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2013, is about to start in another five weeks and everybody is excited about it. All top poker players from around the world would participate in it and battle it out for the WSOP bracelets. It is open for every player and fan but not everyone can afford to be a part of this tournament as the money required to play in its events is huge.

There are other ways to play in WSOP events, and for which one needn’t pay a huge amount like actual buy-ins. One of the easiest and sure way is to get a seat through satellite, which enables a player to be a part of one of the WSOP gold bracelet event. Anyone can play in these satellite events and after winning, one gets to play in the one of the WSOP event and gets a sure shot on the bracelet. Earlier this month, John Bowman, who won the WSOP Harrah’s Cherokee Championship made his entry in the event through a satellite seat.

A lot of Poker websites do offer such satellite events in which a poker player or fan can take part. And winning such an event means getting a shot at bracelet event at WSOP, Las Vegas.

Some of the websites which are running such satellite events are mentioned below with their satellite event structure and prizes:

Carbon Poker: Carbon Poker is running two satellites, ‘Sit n Go’ And MTT. Sit n Go runs every day with buy ins as low as $2. MTT satellite runs everyday for $2 and $10 buy ins however if one wants to participate in $55 buy in he has only four days in a week i.e. Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The winner of these satellites gets a chance to battle for a WSOP ticket in a $250+$25 buy in satellite event.

Titan Poker: Titan poker is running three satellites. Main event satellite events takes place on Wednesdays and Sundays from 21st April to June 12th. Buy-ins are as low as $0.88+$0.08. The final satellite buy-in will be for $500+$25. For Side events, satellite are on Saturdays from April 27th to June 6th. Buy-ins are as low as $0.25+$0.02. The final satellite for this event will have a buy-in of $200+$15.And for experience package, buy-ins starts from $0.11+$0.01. The final buy in will be of $50+$5 and this satellite will end on June 3rd.

PokerStars: PokerStars is offering a lot of buy-ins for its satellite seat. Players can choose the buy-in according to their levels and bankrolls. The winner of this satellite will win a $10,000 WSOP main event buy-in along with $3000 for their travel and other expenses.

Party Poker: Party Poker is another major site which is running satellites for WSOP entry. Any player can choose from a range of buy-ins and participate in these satellite events. The winner of main event package will get $10,000 main event buy-in with $2,000 for expenses plus a 10 nights hotel accommodation whereas experience package offers $2,500 side event buy-in with $1,650 spending money and hotel accommodation for 7 nights.
