Sam Razavi picked up at the APT Korea 2013 where he left off at the just concluded Macau Poker Cup(MPC) 2013 lifting the opening event at the Ramada Hotel and Casino, Jeju here today. Razavi’s whose excellent performance at the MPC elevated to the top of the 2013 Asian Player of the Year rankings won Event 1 getting his first ever APT Trophy in Korea.
Razavi overcame a 2:1 chip lead by runners up Jimmy Chun to conquer the opening event and stamp his commanding presence in the APT Korea 2013. The proceedings for APT Korea 2013 started on August 18th at Jeju and the tournament will continue for a week with the Main event happening on Aug 23rd.
Event 2, the Add on for Charity event was won by Malaysian Kun Kiet Wong. The Charity Event raised a huge amount of KRW XX (KRW 1,017,146) which will be donated to the Incorporated Association Bank Nyun Hwai.
