WPT Borgata Poker Open Day 2: Raj Vohra in Lead

Raj Vohra leads the pack of 174 poker players remaining in the Main event of the WPT Borgata Poker Open as Day 2 ended at the Borgata Casino in Atlantic City. The Borgata leg of the World Poker Tour Season XII started on 15th September and saw 1189 poker players enter in the two flights of Day 1a and Day 1b. 174 now remain as Raj Vohra commands with a chip stack of 586,700.

Other top stacks include Katayon Khaterzai with 548,000, Edwin Torres with 544,900, Justin Zaki with 462,000, Alexander Rocha with 447,500, and Jerry Wong with 445,000. Some of the known poker faces that fell on Day 2 include Phil Laak, Prahlad Friedman, Lee Childs and Matt Brady.

Paul Volpe who lead the Day 1b action fell out of the top 10 stacks and has 337,000 chips to his credit. Day 1a leader Cong Pham is doing better and is 9th in chip strength with 416,600 chips. the money bubble will burst when 110 poker players are left in the game.

Day 3 will resume soon from Atlantic City and as the 174 players return, Level 15 of poker play will resume. It is expected that by the time Day 3 winds up a final 27 players will be standing. Keep watching this space for more action from the WPT Borgata Poker Open.
