2013 WSOP Europe Main Event Day 2: Ivey, Hellmuth fall

WSOPEPhil Ivey and Phil Hellmuth fell on Day 2 of the 2013 World Series of Poker Europe(WSOPE) Paris Main Event as German Dominik Nitsche emerged in chip lead. With a gigantic stack of 504,800 chips, the WSOP Bracelet Winner catapulted to the top of the chip lead within a few games of Day 2 surpassing Day 1 Leader Ludovic Lacay.

WSOP Europe Paris Main Event has seen 375 entrants making up a prize pool of €3.6 million with the top 40 finishing in the money and the lions share of €1 million and a Gold Bracelet reserved for the winner. Notable poker players who fell on Day 2 include WSOP Champions Phil Hellmuth and Phil Ivey and 2013 November Niner’s JC Tran and David Benefield.

Day 1 chip leader Lacay is doing well on second spot with 406,200 chips while Benny Spindler is a distant third with 345,000 chips. The only 2013 November Niner now in contention is Jay Farber who has 293,700 chips. Other players who will be returning to action on Day 3 include Jeremy Ausmus, David Yan and Faraz Jaka.
