The Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) today announced the schedule of the Manila, Philippines outing of its Season 9 calendar. The tournament which will take place at PokerStars LIVE at City of Dreams Manila from July 30 to August 9 brings 14 Official Asia Player of the Year events. The PHP 50,000 (USD $1,130) Main Event will be played from August 6-9 wherein the winner gets HKD 100,000 entry to the 2015 ACOP Main Event.
“With PokerStars LIVE at City of Dreams Manila hosting by far the most ambitious APPT schedule we’ve ever had in the Phillippines, we anticipate a truly incredible festival,” said poker room manager Gerardo “Hill” Alim. “We look forward to providing players the best live poker experience across this action-packed 11-day festival,” he added.
The tournament kicks off with the PHP 10,000 Warm-up event which boasts of PHP 3 Million Guaranteed prize pool. Going further, there are PHP 2,000 Rebuy, Deepstack PLO and PHP 2,500 KO Bounty events. Several other freeze-out No Limit Holdem events will keep players engaged before the main event starts.
One-day events – PHP 10,000 NLH Turbo and PHP 5,000 NLH Shootout events will run parallel to the Main Event on 7th and 8th August respectively. PHP 25,000 Megastack Freezeout will start on Aug 08 will run for 2 days. The final day of the tournament will bring PHP 200,000 High Roller and PHP 15,000 KO Bounty running parallel to the Main Event final table.
