Indian Poker Pot – Week 32: Danish Headlines the Week with $12,302 cash in The Hotter $75

Every week brings new challenges, new perspective, new ideas and new ambitions for an online grinder. With thousands of MTTs played across several sites in a week, Indian online poker players have a variety of tourney options to choose from and extract maximum profits. In the Week 32 of 2015 spanning from 3^rd to 10^th August, Indian players bagged 7 tourney wins and a number of final table finishes.

Danish Shaikh became the “OPN Star of the Week” bagging the only 5 figure score ($12,302) in The Hotter $75 on Sunday. rajaav continued his excellent run in the PLO tourneys winning 2 of them and final tabling other two. Sabyasachi ‘Infusion_leo’ Chakraborty went a little unlucky this week final tabling 4 tourneys but missed the top place each time. Arsh ‘BigggTymeR’ Grover added more dollars to his ongoing $100K Challenge with Abhishek Rathod making 3 FT finishes including a runner-up finish.

Monday – Wednesday

Indian grinders took a slow start this week with only 4 notable scores in the first 3 days of the week. Karan Radia won $2,184.87 finishing 7^th in The Big $55, $60K Gtd on PokerStars while alwaystiltAA madea runner-up finish in the $3.30+R NL Hold’em, $10K Gtd for $1,519.20. Arsh Grover started off his week with a runner-up finish on 888 Poker in The $7,500 Thunder 6-Max 2nd Chance bagging $1,443.75. Saby aka Infusion_leo finished 6^th in the $44 NL Hold’em [Turbo], $6K Gtd for $392.

Thursday

Abhishek Rathod, Arsh’s partner in the $100K Challenge won €20 Hold’em NL [6-Max, SuperKnockout, €4,000 Gtd] on PokerStars.fr for $572 on Thursday. rajaav won his first tourney of Week 32 – $22+R PL Omaha [6-Max], $1K Gtd for $850. Sahil ‘Antilog’ Agarwal placed runner-up in the $33 NL Hold’em [Turbo], $10K Gtd – Guarantee Boost! earning $2,734. On Tital Poker, Sahil won $327 finishing 3^rd in the €1,500 Gtd 1R/1A. Sabyasachi finished on Final Table of two tourneys on Full Tilt poker pocketing $220 and $325. Shashank ‘felter1989’ Jain pocketed $295 for his 8^th place finish in the $82 NL Hold’em [6-Max, Hyper-Turbo], $6K Gtd on PokerStars.

Friday

Arvindhan aka tiltalert86 gave a superb start to the weekend winning The Big $33, $20K Gtd for $4,611. The win came at a perfect time as Arvindhan also reached a milestone of $100k in tournament winnings with this. Arsh ran deep in one tourney each on PokerStars and Full Tilt on Friday but finished 5^th in both the games. He won $952 in PS The Hot $22 [Turbo], $15K Gtd and $450 in Full Tilt The Mega Stack. rajaav won another PLO tourney on PokerStars pocketing $561 while raveoholic007 outplayed 1419 online runners in the $8.80 NL Hold’em [6-Max, Turbo], $10K Gtd to win the top prize of $1,902.

Saturday

The poker action again soared on the virtual felt on Saturday with Sanat Kaikini winning The Big $16.50, $12.5K Gtd for $3,071. Sanjay Taneja joined the online action after a short break of few weeks and went on to win $3,302 finishing 6^th in The Big $162, $60K Gtd – Guarantee Boost! on PokerStars. Amit ‘bblacklegend’ Jain added another $2,202 to his online tournament winnings which is over a million dollar. rajaav continued his good run winning $1,180 for the 4^th place in the $215 Weekly PL Omaha, $8K Gtd and another $106 finishing 4^th in the low buy-in tourney $4.40+R PL Omaha [6-Max, Turbo], $1K Gtd. Sharad ‘Keenyle’ Rao bagged $414 finishing 7^th in the $8.80 NL Hold’em [1R1A], $10K Gtd.

Sunday

The week ended on a higher note for Indian MTT grinders with Danish Shaikh winning $12,302 in The Hotter $75 for his unfortunate 3^rd place finish. Sahil Agarwal clinched a win on Titan Poker in the €8,000 Sunday Pearl for $1,763. Infusion_leo made another FT finish for $408 in the $11 NL Hold’em, $4K Gtd on PokerStars.
