Meacham Wins WPTDeepStacks Jacksonville; Timofeev Leads Final 6 at PokerStars Championship Panama

The $1,500 Main Event at WPTDeepStacks Jacksonville has ended and it was Jeremy Meacham who emerged the victorious after defeating a huge field of 420 entries. He defeated Trey Walton in the heads-up game and won $114,551, which was the largest live score of his career. Meacham didn’t begin the final table as the chip lead though, he eliminated Mike Murphy in 5th place to chip up and then came a big double for him through Richard McCrary that made him the chip lead among final 4. Meacham continued on his elimination spree and soon he knocked out Corey Bierria whose Ah-3d failed against his Ad-Qc. Meacham entered heads-up with a 4-1 chip lead over Trey Walton. A few hands later, Meacham won the title when  Walton’s Ks Qd against Meacham’s 4d 4s.

The next event on WPTDeepStacks schedule is WPTDeepStacks Reno at Atlantis Casino Resort Spa. The $1,100 Main Event comes with a prize pool of $200,000 and is scheduled for March 24-27, 2017.

Denis Timofeev Leads Final 6 Players at PokerStars Championship Panama

The PokerStars Championship Panama is currently underway and the latest from the series is Denis Timofeev from Russia who leads the remaining final 6 players. In total, it took about 7 hours to make the event 6 handed final table and eventually Denis emerged as the chip lead with 3,905,000 130 in chips. He gained chip lead by knocking out James Salmon in 7th place. Salmon was a short-stacked player who got it in with ace-deuce. Timofeev called with ace-ten. He flopped a ten, but the river card gave him a trip to gain the chip lead.denis

For the longest time, it was Kenneth Smaron who led the pack, but in the end, Denis Timofeev became the chip lead. Following Timofeev is Robin Luca Wozniczek from Germany, while Smaron is sitting on the 3rd position. At the bottom of the table, it is Anthony Diotte from Canada with 465,000 in chips.
