Kishor ‘kishorvc’ Kumar Wins Record-Breaking Rich Race on Adda52

Last night was the biggest night as Adda52’s signature monthly tournament- The Rich Race took place. With its growing popularity and increasing number of registrations every month, The Rich Race is already a hit tourney on Adda52. But this time, it was a roaring success. The tournament that guaranteed INR 15 Lacs for the winner broke all the records, attracting a record-breaking participation with 791 entries in total. The total prize pool of the event reached a staggering INR 3164002 with Kishor ‘kishorvc’ Kumar outlasting the massive field to win the top prize of INR 15 Lacs. In total, top 72 players made money in this event with min-cash of INR 7910.


It was the first-ever Rich Race title for Kishor ‘kishorvc’ Kumar who came out to the top after defeating a huge field. He battled with many top pros and regulars and finally defeated the well-known online player Manesh  ‘TEAMfromHELL’ Rathod from Chennai who works at IIT Madras. On the last hand of the tournament, the big blind ‘kishorvc’ moved all -in with Js-10c and ‘TEAMfromHELL’ made the call with As-6h. The board ran out 6d-7h-2h-9d-8, which gave kishorvc, a straight to claim the title and pocket the top prize money of INR 15 Lacs. Manesh won a cool INR 455616 for finishing 2nd in this tremendously successful tourney on

While the winner ‘kishorvc’ was not available for the comment, OPN Team managed to speak to the runner-up finisher-Manesh ‘TEAMfromHELL’Rathod from Chennai who said, “It (The Rich Race) is obviously one of the toughest tournaments you get to play on as it involves a large field and there is no limit on the number of players and re-entries as well. It was a fascinating experience especially in ITM! I am quite happy after finishing runner-up in this tourney.”

Many regulars, pros and past Rich Race champions were seen battling it out for the title and many of them managed good scores. Some notables who finished in the money in this tourney included Adda52 Team Pros Kunal Patni and Tarun ‘aggtarun’ Goyal, Nishant ‘DoJingBULLETS’ Sharma, Hitesh ‘hitesh_goyal’ Goyal, Siddarth ‘badtameez_donk’ Singhvi and Anuj ‘thekinganuj’ Kumar Kodam who is the DOPT Main Event Final Table chip lead and will come to Goa to battle it out for the first place prize money in DOPT Main Event, the final table of which will be played live at India’s luxurious casino- Deltin Royale in Goa during DPT this month.
