Alisports (Alibaba Sports Group) returns to action between 16th – 20th May this year for its second-ever International Poker Tour (IPT) event. The 5-day poker festival is set to take place at the luxurious Venetian Macau in partnership with the joint organizer Poker King Club.
Alisports entered the poker market with the International Poker Tour in December 2016. Since then, the IPT has had one event held last year in Sanya at Hainan Island, China. The Main Event of the festival, which had a massive 8 million RMB GTD prize pool (~US$1.2 Million), was a grand success and went on to attract a huge field of 698 players coming from various parts of the world.
HKD 5 Million Guaranteed Main Event
For the upcoming poker fiesta in May, the IPT will feature HK$15,000 Main Event with HK$5 Million guarantee. The event spans the entire length of the festival, beginning on opening day. There will be a total of three starting days followed by Day 2, Day 3, and the Final Day.
The IPT also launches its new online platform, which will be up and running in the second half of April with online satellites and freerolls to IPT 2018 Macau. That is not all, there will be several side events, including HKD 80,000 High Roller Event. Gear up to experience the massive action ahead!
