Jake Schindler Takes Down 2018 PartyPoker LIVE MILLIONS Grand Final Barcelona Super High Roller

The American poker pro – Jake Schindler has taken down the 2018 PartyPoker LIVE MILLIONS Grand Final Barcelona €101,000 buy-in NLH Super High Roller. The 28-year-old outlasted a strong field of 48 entries to capture the title for a whopping €1,750,000 ($2,170,000 USD). This was the 2nd largest live tournament score of his career. Currently holding $17,798,046 in live earnings of his career, Schindler has joined the top 20 players on the all-time money list, sitting in the 19th place.

This was his 8th final table finish of the year and 3rd title. With 2,101 POY points and around $3.4 million in year-to-date live earnings, Schindler has moved to the 7th place in the POY standings.

Schindler entered the final day of this Super High Roller as the chip leader with 11 players remaining. Poker Hall of Famer and 8-time WSOP bracelet winner – Erik Seidel was the first player to hit the rail. He earned $297,600 USD for his 2nd high roller final table finish in just 3 days. Following him was Bryn Kenney, who moved all-in with a straight draw and then failed to improve against Schindler’s flopped set. Kenney earned a cool $421,600 USD for his deep run in this event.

Jason Koon was the next to hit the rail. He ran his pocket threes into the pocket sixes of Stephen Chidwick. He got eliminated in the 4th place and took home $620,000 USD. Chidwick continued his spree of knockouts and very soon eliminated Jean-Noel Thorel in the 3rd place.

In heads-up, the American pro – Schindler was able to keep a lead, despite Chidwick closing the gap several times. By the time the final hand came, Schindler had roughly a 3-to-2 advantage.

On the last hand when the blinds were running 175,000 and 350,000, Schindler had As-3h and Chidwick held Qs-6h. The community cards were Ad-4s-2s -5c-7s. Schindler won the title with a straight.
