Ajmera’s Journey 2018
Ajmera has been in amazing form this year. The player has notched up several big scores on adda52.com. He started off in style, winning Friday FullHouse and The Whale tourneys back-to-back in January. Later, the player made it to the final table in Sunday Suits, Adda52 Millions and The Whale tourneys. The month of March saw him winning Judwaa and making the final table in the Godfather tournament. The same month, he also made an ITM finish in Big Millions.
Later, Ajmera notched up some other crucial scores, finishing runner-up in Judwaa and The Roar and then finally winning Judwaa in June. After his Adda52 Millions win, we caught up with Ajmera and he said, “Feels good to finally take it down after final tabling a couple of times before. It has one of the best structures, deep and 6 max; almost never becomes a shove fest, there’s alot of room to play.”
Talking about the field and his journey in this particular tourney, the player said, “The Adda52 Millions field is generally harder than other tournaments since most of the regs play it; I ran pretty well from the start, had a top 10 stack nearly throughout, managed to run pure in crucial spots”
When asked about his plans in online and live poker, he said, “Will continue grinding online cash games online with a few tourneys every week like I’ve been doing for a while now. I am pretty excited to come back for WPT India (13th November to 19th November2018) again this year, looking forward to it.”
