‘ASD5’ Outlasts 526 Entries To Win His First Mega Suits For INR 6,31,200

This past Sunday saw India’s No. 1 Poker Site – Adda52 hosting its flagship poker tournament – 25 Lac GTD Mega Suits. As usual, the INR 5,500 buy-in tournament began at 8pm and drew a field of 526 entries to easily crush the specified gurantee and take the final prizepool to a whopping INR 26,30,000. After several hours of tough battles, it was eventually a relatively lesser-known player ‘ASD5’ who won the tournament for INR 6,31,200, after beating his heads-up opponent ‘pokerfish87’.

To claim his win, ‘ASD5’ outlasted a strong FT that had last night’s Big Slick winner Akshay Nasa (6^th for INR 92,050) and Rajat Sharma (7^th for INR 65,750). Top 55 were paid in the event with a min-cash of INR 11,835. Some notables to finish deep were recent Big Slick winner Sreekanth Narayan (9^th for INR 39450), recent Mega Suits winner Manish Lakhotia (13^th for INR 26,300) and ace players in Sriharsha Doddapaneni (16^th for INR 22,355) and Sumit Sapra (20^th for INR 19,725).

‘ASD5’ has been playing on Adda52 for a less than a year and this was the first major win for him on Adda52. While the eventual winner was not available for the comment, he must be very happy after adding the first major win to his poker resume. We congratulate and wish him good luck ahead!
