Three Indians Still Alive & The Rest 7 Players Gone!

As many as 10 Indians had returned for Day 4 play among the 1,286 but only three of them could make it to Day 5 of the world’s most prestigious event. Bagging the biggest stack among them was none other than Kartik Ved who has already cashed in this Main Event last year, finishing 128th for $57,010 (INR 39.20 Lac). He will be looking to better his previous score when returns for Day 5.

Ved had started day 4 as the chip leader among the 10 Indians and he retained his position, ending the day with a stack of 2,243,000 (93 big blinds). The two other Indians who will be joining him on Day 5 are London-based Yudhishter Jaswal (1,333,000 – 56 big blinds) and the young gun Akshay Nasa (670,000 – 28 big blinds), who is better known for his exploits and scores on the online felts.

7 Indians finished in the money on Day 4 and among them Goonjan Mall (1,115th for $15,000) was first to exit.
