The Indian poker scene has changed drastically with a huge surge in the live poker stops in Goa. Taking this forward, the Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT) recently announced three live tournament series for the first half of 2020. Kicking off the year for the DPT will be DPT Xpress, which runs from 27th February to 1st March at the Deltin Royale, Goa. The next series on the schedule is another DPT Xpress, which will be taking place at the Deltin JAQK casino from 26th to 29th March. The third stop will be DPT series, which will run from 22nd to 27th April at its home – Deltin Royale and this time it will come with some welcome changes to its already robust structures and bigger guarantees.
Among the all DPT events powered by Adda52Live, DPT Xpress has been held thrice so far, with the first two editions taking place at the Deltin Denzong in Sikkim and the third edition running at the Deltin JAQK in Goa. The best part of the series is that a player can come with small budget and grind through the entire series. The third edition of the series was a record-breaking success and it saw Anant Purohit topping a record field of 205 entries to clinch the Main Event title for INR 7.40 Lac prize.
Catering mainly to the low-to-mid stakes players, the upcoming DPT Xpress edition is a four-day long series kicking off with the 5K Burn ‘N’ Turn event on 27th February. The biggest attraction is the 15K Main Event, a 2-day event running from February 29th to 1st March. Catering to the bounty lovers is the 10K Bounty event on 28th February, which is followed by a 10K DeepStack on 1st March. This is the first time that the DPT Xpress takes place at the Deltin Royale and we can expect a much larger participation this time around as Manish J. Adnani, the Business Head Poker at Delta Corp Ltd, has hinted some welcome changes to the structures and TDS policies for the upcoming DPT events.
