Gaurav Sood Outlasts Rishabh Baj In HU To Win Maverick; Monish Kumar Ships Hexagram

As we hit the mid-week, online action began to pick up pace, and the Wednesday flagship tourney on was the 10 Lac GTD Maverick, which once again fared really well, drawing a field of 681 entries and resulting in a hefty prize pool worth INR 15.49 Lac. In the end, it was none other than the MTT specialist Gaurav Sood aka ‘gauravarod’ who came out on top after outlasting a notable reg in Rishabh Baj aka ‘rishlangda’ (runner-up for INR 2.05 Lac) and walked away with INR 3.56 Lac prize.

Sood is a very consistent MTT player on the Indian circuit and already holds plenty of cashes and wins to his name. He has been playing on for several years and the journey has been very rewarding so far. Another key tourney to conclude last night on was the 3 Lac GTD Hexagram with INR 2200 buy-in. The tourney did well, pulling in a total of 149 entries and collecting INR 3 Lac prizepool, which eventually got distributed among the top 15 finishers. In the end, it was a notable online reg in Monish Kumar aka ‘monish1965’ who took down the tourney for INR 61,450, after striking a heads-up deal with Vaibhav Shah aka ‘Vaibsaarav’ who banked INR 61,347 for his runner-up finish.

Others notable players who finished deep in the tourney included the likes of Deepak Singh (3rd for INR 56,453), Ritesh Tripathi (7th for INR 11,250) and Naresh Veeravalli (10th for INR 6,000).
