WSOP.com Online Finale Circuit: Shawn Daniels & David Larson Are the Latest Winners

Open to players in Nevada, New Jersey and Delaware, the ongoing WSOP.com Online Finale Circuit series has already crossed the halfway mark. The 12-ring event series has awarded seven gold rings so far with Shawn Daniels and David Larson being the latest players in the list of ring winners.

Event #7: $150,000 GTD Online Finale Circuit High Roller 6-Max 2x Re-entry featuring a $1,000 buy-in was a huge success, attracting a total of 291 entries and nearly doubling the guarantee with a total prizepool of $277,905 that was shared by the top 30 players with a min-cash starting at $2,528.

Topping the field was Shawn “Saygoodnight” Daniels who banked a $75,034 first-place prize, his second WSOP Circuit ring, and a guaranteed spot in the online Global Casino Championship.

This was Daniels’ second largest score, only falling behind his $101,000 cash that came in the 2017 WSOP Main Event where he finished in 72nd place. Also at the final table in this event were Krista “Pollux” Gifford (runner-up for $43,770) and Justin “LappyPoker” Lapka (9th place for $4,724).

It was a star-studded field with many big names. Eric “biueberry” Elliott (12th place – $3,612), James “meatsweats” Carroll (19th place – $2,918), William “swaggyb” Corvino (24th place – $2,640), and Matt “berkey11_s4y” Berkey (26th place – $2,528) were among the prominent players who finished ITM.

A total of 419 players entered the $320 buy-in Event #6: $100,000 GTD Online Finale Circuit Freezeout, generating an impressive $125,700 in the prize pool. While the top 75 finishers were paid out with a min-cash of $402, it was David ‘TheClubber’ Larson who emerged victorious after outlasting a tough FT that had Mike ‘THICC’ Del Vecchio and Justin ‘tamaratibles’ Young.

Among other notables who made money in the tourney were Shawn ‘SayGoodNight’ Daniels (10th for $1,382), Josh ‘YoelRomero’ King (11th for $1,382), Alexander ‘JinYang’ Butcher (17th for $1,005), Andrew ‘randylerch’ Kelsall (32nd for $465), and Katie ‘katelin’ Lindsay who finished 42nd for $427.
