Tuesday marked Day 13 of the WPT Online India (WPTOI) on Adda52.com and what a fantastic day of poker it was. There were a total of 10 tournaments on the schedule, 8 of which came to a conclusion.
The day saw its overall INR 49.20 Lac guarantee being crushed with an impressive 3,447 entries coming in for the day and generating a whopping INR 55,26,683. While several players won big during the day, the single largest score of the day belonged to none other than the 2019 WPT India MegaStack champion Madhav Gupta who won himself an impressive INR 6.55 Lac and a second WPT Trophy for winning the 25 Lac GTD WPT Tuesday Feature. The showstopper tourney of the series, the 2.5 Crore GTD WPT India Main Event, played out its Day 1B where Mandar Darade claimed the end of the day chip lead with a stack of 383,586. 2.5 Crore GTD WPT India ME Day 1B
The star attraction at the ongoing series, the 2.5 Crore GTD WPT India Main Event, played out its second flight, Day 1B. The second of the Main Event’s 10 starting flights, Day 1B, commenced last night at 7 PM and registered 299 entries. Following 29 levels of play, the day ended with only 32 players advancing to Day 2. Mandar Darade aka “HighCardJ” grabbed the pole position with a stack of 383,586 chips, while Rubin Labroo aka “kornkif” (304,016), WSOP bracelet winner Abhinav Iyer aka “checkshove” (271,779), WPT Bounty Classic PKO champion Peushup Eugene aka “peushup” (264,219), and Vidwath “phoenix66990” Shetty (226,562) rounded out the top five stacks of the day.
25 Lac GTD WPT Tuesday Feature
The only WPT Trophy of the day was awarded in the 25 Lac GTD WPT Tuesday Feature. The INR 4400 buy-in event registered 712 participants, comfortably crushing its guarantee and creating INR 28.48 Lac in prizepool, which was ultimately shared by the top 72 players with a min-cash of INR 9,968.
After close to 8 hours of intense play, the WPT India 2019 MegaStack champion Madhav Gupta aka “madzoopa” won the tourney to win himself a second WPT Trophy and INR 6.55 Lac prizemoney. Rudramani “rud1478” Pokhrel, who has already made a few deep finishes at the series, finished runner-up for INR INR 3,78,072, while Vishal “vishalkumar1270” Kumar finished third for INR 2.56 Lac.
Akshay “Powershell” Asawa (4th for INR 1,99,360), Siddharth “gabandheer” Pandey (5th for INR 1,42,400), Deepak “bothras” Bothra (7th for INR 78,320) & Kamal “ksn123” Naruka (8th for INR 56,960) were the other notable players who ended their run at the final table of the tourney.
15 Lac GTD WPT India Madness Day 1B
Besides the WPT India Main Event, the 15 Lac GTD WPT India Madness also played out its second starting flight, Day 1B. Registering 257 entries, Day 1B saw 46 runners making it through to Day 2.
Manish Lakhotia aka “newkidpoker” (230,438) bagged the most massive stack to claim the end-of-day chip lead. “narayanpn” (190,842) bagged the second-biggest stack, while “AshMd” (188,089), “Aj_style19″ (157,030), and “POKERBRAT0118” (152,114) rounded out the top 5 stacks of the day.
8 Lac GTD WPT Mini 6-Max
The WPT Mini 6-Max was a grand success, pulling in 515 entries to generate a guarantee-crushing 10.30 Lac, which was finally shared by the top 55 players, with a min cash worth INR 4,635. Mystery user “VishalMaharaj” championed the tournament, winning himself a cool INR 2.47 Lac in top prize.
The WPT Kickoff champion Ayush Garg aka “lazyman”came within a touching distance of a second title but had to eventually finish runner-up for INR 1.44 Lac prizemoney. Also at the FT was Sumit “sumit4game” Saurav who finished 5th and walked away with INR 51,500 for his deep finish.
5 Lac GTD WPT Classic
The WPT Battlefield winner from the series, “Kunotaguero” came out on top of a 292-entry field in the 5 Lac GTD WPT Classic and walked away with INR 1.13 Lac in top prize. Finishing runner-up was the online MTT reg Shashank Desai “indianrat” who banked INR 91,633 for his finish in the tourney.
