ATOC Day 6: Ved Wins Tuesday Feature; Gupta Takes Down Armani; Kulkarni Among Chip Leaders After Main Event Day 1B

Tuesday marked Day 6 of the ongoing 8 Crore GTD Adda52 tournament of champions (ATOC). The showstopper tourney of the series, the 2 Crore GTD ATOC Main Event, ran its second starting flight yesterday. Day 1B fared much better than the opening flight, drawing in a total of 192 entries, a massive improvement over the 74 entries on Day 1A. Only 18 players advanced to Day 2, with the mystery player ‘firsttime’ emerging as the end of the day chip leader with 455,844. Aditya ‘Adit11’ Kulkarni (286,165) and Siddhanth ‘SidStack’ Kripalani (262,021) rounded out the top three stacks.

15 Lac GTD ATOC Tuesday Feature

The day`s trophy event, the 15 Lac GTD ATOC Tuesday Feature, did pretty well pulling in 447 entrants to collect a guarantee-crushing prize pool worth INR 15.65 Lac. After a little over seven hours of play, it was the well-known MTT reg Kartik ‘Pegasus1505’ Ved who shipped the tourney to win the single-largest score of the day – 3.83 Lac and the ATOC trophy. Vishal ‘vishalmaharaj’ Maharaj placed runner-up for INR 2.27 Lac. He also finished 4th in the ATOC Maximus for INR 25,800.

8 Lac GTD ATOC Armani

The other major tourney to conclude on Day 6 of the ATOC series was the 8 Lac GTD ATOC Armani that pulled in 412 participants to surpass its guarantee and generate INR 8.24 Lac in the prize pool. Online reg Akshay ‘darulerofall’ Gupta came out on top of the field to win it for a personal-best INR 2.04 Lac. The anonymous user ‘rithuant’ placed runner-up and walked away with INR 1.24 Lac.

Pratibh Saluja Wins ATOC Icarus

Among other prominent winners of the day, online MTT crusher Pratibh “MrGTO” Saluja won the 3 Lac GTD ATOC Icarus for INR 67,263 after outlasting a strong field of 130 players. He eventually struck a heads-up deal with Pankaj “Pok3rking” Nanda finished runner-up for INR 64,887 prize.
