Thursday Majors: Birthday Boy Arikeri Wins Godfather; Radia Ships Monster Turbo; Jain Among Chip Leaders After Full House 1D

It was a thundering Thursday on India’s largest poker site, with the online poker giant running the fourth starting flight of the 1 Crore GTD Full House. Day 1D of the multi-day tourney sporting a buy-in of INR 5500 drew a total of 216 entries, taking the total entry count to 661 entries.

After the 29 levels of play, only 21 players survived the day’s onslaught and made it to Day 2. Bagging the most massive stack was “Tricker2020” (402,947), followed by Shagun “sogani94” Jain (298,294), “foldkardunga” (261,812), “PsychGOD” (222,795), and Vidyasagar “darubhai” Darapu  (208,277).

25 Lac GTD Godfather

The Thursday night flagship, the 25 Lac GTD Godfather, registered a crowded field of 449 entries. The top 49 places got paid, with the birthday boy Ravindra “wormhole” Arikeri walking away with the lion’s share of the prize pool worth INR 5.32 Lac (HU Deal). Saransh “don004” Garg scored INR 4,43,323 for his runner-up finish in the Thursday tourney. The final spot on the podium belonged to Anujkumar “thekinganuj” Kodam who exited in the 3rd place, earning INR 2.50 Lac for his efforts. The  win was the first flagship title of the year for Arikeri and it came on a good time – his birthday!

The 5 Lac GTD Monster Turbo featuring a buy-in of INR 2500 did better with a turnout of 260 entries to crush its guarantee and generate a prize pool of INR 5.85 Lac shared by the top 27 players.

Online MTT reg Karan “Reg_Slayer” Radia was the last player standing and won INR 1.58 Lac.
