Friday Majors: Nitin Arora Leads Nano Main Event 1B Survivors; Shravan Chhabria Wins The Ballers

With the Nano Poker Series (NPS) now on the home stretch, there are some massive GTD tourneys to look forward to this weekend on India’s largest poker site, Adda52.com. The showstopper tourney of the series, the 25 Lac GTD Nano Main Event, played out its second starting flight on Friday. Day 1B of the main event recorded 344 entries, a significant improvement over the 293 entries from Day 1A. After the stipulated 29 levels of play, only 39 survivors could advance to the event’s Finale to be played this Sunday. Nitin ‘BigBluffs’ Arora (427,134) emerged as the end of the day chip leader, while Adithya ‘Rlox1’ N G (334,909), and ‘jpoker’ (310,769) rounded out the top five stacks of the day.

Friday marked Day 5 of the Nano Poker Series (NPS) and there were a total of seven winners crowned. The biggest NPS tourney to play down to a winner was the 2.5 Lac GTD Nano Ballers that found a winner in “Bhande17” who outlasted Ranveer “seven2222” Singh Sandhu (runner-up for INR 35,064) in HU to bank INR 47,836. Devrat “Vickypune” Singh finished in 3rd place for INR 25,702.

The other major tourney of the day was the 1.5 Lac GTD Nano DST that was taken down by the Nano Ballers runner-up finisher Ranveer “seven2222” Singh Sandhu. He defeated Ajit “ace_bob” Singh Arora (runner-up for INR 39,203) in the heads-up battle to bank the top prize of INR 49,773.

22.50 Lac GTD The Ballers

Running alongside the Nano Main Event was Friday’s featured tourney, the 22.50 Lac GTD The Ballers. The 7,500 buy-in tourney drew 367 challengers to collect a guarantee-crushing 25.14 Lac prize pool. The well-known MTT pro Shravan ‘Sweatmyass13’ Chhabria shipped the tourney for INR 6.28 Lac, making him the day`s top scorer. ‘MallaNi’ placed runner-up for INR 3.81 Lac.

5 Lac GTD Running Hot

The 5 Lac GTD Running Hot pulled in 284 runners, collecting a guarantee-crushing prize pool worth INR 5.68 Lac. Starting at 9:30 PM, the tourney came to a close at 3:07 AM, with ‘Lemonade’ taking it down for INR 1.45 Lac. Abhiroop ‘Daniel90’ Gupta finished runner-up for INR 86,620 prize.
