Indian-Origin Player Raminder Singh Wins Event 2 Of 2021 May Deep Stack Poker Series

The 2021 May Deep Stack Poker Series is currently underway at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, Florida. Event 2 of the series was a one-day $150 Deep Stack Turbo NLH with a $10K GTD. The turbo tournament took place on 23rd May and fared amazingly well, drawing in a field of 177 entries to more than double its guarantee and create $21,240 in the prize pool. In the end, Indian origin player Raminder Singh emerged as the champion of the event. Singh earned a cool $5,488 for the victory & added yet another trophy to his already impressive collection of hardware.

Singh eventually agreed to a three-way deal with Maheshwar Manthani (runner-up for $3,690) and Guillermo Reyes Cardoso (3rd for $2,177). This isn’t the first time Singh walked away with this trophy as he had won this tournament in 2017 as well after outlasting Daren Stabinski heads-up for the win.

The top 23 places were paid out with Jorge Cuesta (4th for $1,324), Jaime Rodriguez (5th for $1,023), and Matthew Waldron (6th place for $847) being other notables to finish deep in the tourney.
