Sundays are always the most electrifying days on Adda52.com, but now with the 25 Crore GTD WPT Online India (WPTOI) 2021 edition running full steam, the action has reached a new peak on the site. Sunday marked Day 15 of the ongoing series and we must say that it was truly a power-packed day with a whopping 4698 entries coming in to crush the day’s overall GTD and take it to a staggering INR 1.27 Crore prizemoney. The day’s schedule had as many as 12 events running, with nine of them crowning champions. Last year’s WPT Table for 6 winner and this year’s ATOC 6 Max Championship champion, Nitin Arora, was the top scorer of the day as he topped the 398 Day 2 survivors in the 50 Lac GTD WPT Mini Main Event Finale to win INR 7.38 Lac (the single largest score of the day) and his first WPT Trophy from the ongoing series. This month is turning out to be a big one for Arora as he has already won two prestigious titles and last night he added a WPT title to his tally of the month.
Aditya N G came out all guns blazing last night as he shipped not one but two tourneys – the 15 Lac GTD WPT Mega Stack for INR 5.68 Lac and the 1.4 Lac GTD WPT Battlefield for INR 38,875, collecting a combined INR 6.12 Lac from his two victories. Karan Malhotra was the last player standing in the 30 Lac GTD WPT India Independence Day Special and won INR 5.65 Lac and a grand WPT trophy along with it. Tanmay Benara ( won the 6 Lac GTD WPT Monster Turbo for INR 1.53 Lac prize) and Sandeep Varma (won the 5 Lac GTD WPT Hustle for INR 77,940) featured among the other prominent winners of the day. 50 Lac GTD WPT Mini Main Event Finale
Day 15 of the ongoing WPTOI series on Adda52 was headlined by three trophy events. The biggest of them was the 50 Lac GTD WPT Mini Main Event. The INR 999 buy-in multi-day tourney registered 3837 entries across its 10 starting flights, with 398 of them qualifying for Day 2 play last night. The former WPT India Table for 6 and ATOC 6 Max Championship champion Nitin ‘Bigbluffs’ Arora raced past the 398 Day 2 qualifiers to ship the mega tourney to win INR 7,38,000 and a WPT trophy.
Last year’s WPT Monday Feature champion Gagan “gaganhyd” Malik (2nd for INR 5,25,000), Biplob “hellhell” Rana (3rd for INR 3,75,000), last year’s WPT India Super Highroller champ Siddhanth “Sidstack” Kripalani (4th for INR 2,66,000) & Randeep “randysingh” Lather (8th for INR 68,000) were the other prominent players ending their run on the final table of the multi-flight flagship!
30 Lac GTD WPT Independence Day Special
The other trophy event on Day 15 of the series was the 30 Lac GTD WPT Independence Day Special that fared really well, pulling in a field of 497 entries and generating a prizepool worth INR 34.79 Lac. Online reg Karan “gogikaran” Malhotra shipped it to collect a career-best INR 5,65,115 and his first WPT Trophy. The tourney ended in a three-way deal with mystery user “arushiagarwal” (2nd for 5,47,498) & Sandeep “40chor” Bhatnagar (3rd for INR 5,39,912) banking the other top payouts.
Prashanth “ekthatalli” Sekar (4th for INR 260,925), Deepak “Peacelover” Singh (5th place for INR 173,950), Karann “ICMsucks” Dembla (7th for INR 86,975), & Mandar “HighCardJ” Darade (8th for INR 69,580) were the other notable regs posting a deep run in the Independence Day Special tourney.
15 Lac GTD WPT Mega Stack
The former Godfather champion Adithya N G aka ‘Rlox1’ came all gunz blazing. He bagged two WPT Online titles that included winning the 15 Lac GTD WPT Mega Stack (trophy event) for INR 5.68 Lac and the 1.4 Lac GTD WPT Battlefield for INR 38,875, collecting INR 6.12 Lac for his two victories.
The 15 Lac GTD WPT Mega Stack was a grand success as it pulled in a packed field of 546 entries to crush its specified guarantee and create a massive INR 21.84 Lac prizepool shared by the top 55 players. Finishing runner-up in this tourney was an Adda52 regular in Ashok “justmissed” Kailash (2nd for INR 3,22,140), with Avadh “cateyes” Shah (3rd for INR 2,23,860), Pradip “Nit2Donk” Ghosh (4th for INR 1,63,800), Rohit “kudos0505” Behal (5th for INR 1,15,752) and Gautam “Gautam18” Rohilla (6th for INR 76,440) being the other notables ending their run on the final table.
1 Crore GTD WPT India Unreal Flight 15
Also running alongside the Sunday marquees was Flight 15 of the 1 Crore GTD WPT India Unreal. The 15th flight of the event brought 459 contenders to the virtual felts. Only 39 of them advanced to Day 2, with the mystery player ‘Krbnn’ (527,104) topping the surviving field. Following him in chips were ‘abrahamabraham’ (353,279), Parv ‘kidppoker’ Jain (351,950) and “loosecat” (336,368 chips).
The INR 499 buy-in event has garnered 6,332 entries so far and there are 15 more flights to go.
6 Lac GTD WPT Monster Turbo
Tanmay Benara aka ‘PlusEv’ shipped the 6 Lac GTD WPT Monster Turbo to win his first WPT Online title for INR 1,53,261, following a heads-up deal with “boosterx” (runner-up for INR 1,50,679).
Last week`s WPT Mini PLO winner Rachit “FaujiDhaba” Rana (3rd for INR 80,080), Siddharth “Gabandheer” Pandey (4th for INR 60,788), Aditya “Adit11” Kulkarni (5th for INR 41,860), Raghav “FuckedUpLife” Siddalinga (6th for INR 27,300), Prashanth “ekthatalli” Sekar (7th for INR 21,840) & Akshay “darulerofall” Gupta (8th for INR 18,200) were the other notables to post deep finishes.
Like the WPT Independencey Day Special and Mega Stack, this tourney too fared well, pulling a field of 230 entries and creating a prizepool of INR 7.28 Lac that was shared by the top 34 players.
5 Lac GTD WPT Hustle
The other major tourney on Day 15 of the WPTOI series, the 5 Lac GTD WPT Hustle, pulled in 433 entrants and outlasting them was Sandeep ‘effuno’ Varma who banked INR 77,940, following a three-way deal with ‘Dr1313’ (2nd for INR 77,159) & Ankit “kasatankit” Kasat (3rd for INR 62,700).
Rajat ‘happyfish’ Mahajan (Won INR 3 Lac GTD Late Night PKO for INR 82,067), ‘boosterx’ (won 2.5 Lac GTD WPT Mini Turbo for 52,105), ‘yuni007’ (Won 2 Lac GTD WPT Daily Warmup for INR 52,00), ‘sarcasticAC007’ (Won WPT PLO for INR 8,700) and ‘Vickp00’ (Won WPT Regular 200 for INR 7,862) were the other players who bagged WPT online titles on Day 15 of the ongoing WPT Online India.
WPT Online India Mega Leaderboard
Following his deep runs across various WPTOI tourneys on Sunday, Raghav ‘FuckedUpLife’ Siddalinga (784 points) has taken the lead on the Mega Leaderboard, with online MTT beast Ashish Ahuja (776 points) and Ankit Wadhawan (745 points) falling to the #2 and #3 positions, respectively.
