India’s largest poker site – Adda52.com has been flooding the virtual felts with high-octane action and has now kicked off December in style with its ‘Series of Legends’ (SOL) adding zing to what has already been a terrific November for the MTT lovers. Living up to its name, the second edition of SOL attracted plenty of poker pros and legends with all Day 1 events drawing in impressive turnouts.
While the opening day of the series saw so many pros in contention, stealing the show were Rajat Sharma (Won 12.5 Lac GTD Acer Arun for INR 2.78 Lac) & Adda52 pro-Arun Sriram, who topped Day 1A of the 1 Crore GTD Patni Millionaire with a stack of 226,459 chips. Here are the key highlights!
12.5 Lac GTD Acer Arun
The only event to play down to a winner on Day 1 of the series was the 12.5 Lac GTD Acer Arun. Named after Adda52 pro-Arun Sriram, the INR 3,300 buy-in tourney drew a packed field of 411 entrants, and standing tall above everyone else was none other than the well-known MTT pro -Rajat “oshoswami” Sharma who walked away with INR 2.78 Lac after a heads-up deal with Sunday Showdown winner Bhushan “funchampion” Sohani who banked INR 2.20 Lac for his efforts. Karan “Reg_Slayer” Radia picked up the bounty prize worth 5K for busting Arun Sriram from the tourney.

The star attraction on Day 1 of the SOL was the 1 Crore GTD Patni Millionaire Day 1A. The INR 4,400 buy-in multi-day tourney drew in 166 entrants for its first of eight flights. Following the stipulated 29 levels of play, only 19 players survived and made it through to Day 2. Adda52 Pro Arun “runyrules” Sriram (226,459) emerged as the chip leader. Online reg Adarsh “storm007” Subham (212,974) ended up second in chips, with Karan “gogikaran” Malhotra (210,181), Rahul “therealslowroller” Melwani (204,114), & Sahil “ImHighIshove” Mahboobani (172,208) rounding out top five stacks.
