USOP 2023: Festival Results, Team India Winners, Cashes & More!

The U Series of Poker Hanoi 2023, held at the Crown Poker Club from September 1 to 11, ended on a high note for Team India, with over 70 cash finishes, including  25 final table finishes and five USOP trophies. Abhinav Iyer, the WSOP bracelet winner who shipped the Mini High Roller, got India’s campaign off to a flying start. Following his triumph, Indians had a number of final table finishes until the spectacular final day of the series, when the Team India won a record four titles in a single day.

Getting the ball rolling on the final day of the series was Arjanveer Singh Chadha who shipped Event 33: Megastack. Vishal Ojha then followed him with his historic win in the record-breaking Main Event. He took home a career-high VND 5.75 billion and became the first Indian player to achieve this historic feat. Later, Sahil Agarwal made headlines when he won the Single Day High Roller. Kunal Patni added to the team’s winning run by shipping Event #34 High Roller: The Finale.

While Ojha was the star of the series, the Mumbai pro Patni ended up as the most consistent performance and second-highest earning Indian with over seven cash finishes at the series. His crowning achievement occurred on the festival’s last day, when he shipped Event #34 High Roller: The Finale.
