This past Sunday on adda52.com saw the conclusion of the very successful series – Adda52 Online Poker Series (AOPS) and poker players can now look forward to a special 21 Lac AOPS FreeRoll on adda52.com. Yes, you read it right! Adda52 is hosting a 21 Lac FreeRoll to celebrate the roaring success of the AOPS and this special FreeRoll is slated to take place this coming Sunday at 8 PM.
Coming back to AOPS, it was a smashing success with 15K+ entries and over INR 6 Crores given away in total prizepool. In its 10 days of an eventful run on adda52.com, the high-value series featured a total of 41 tournaments and saw several big winners. The player who eventually claimed the biggest title was ‘blunt420’, who won the 1.5 Crore GTD AOPS Main Event for INR 31.24 Lac. He outlasted India’s poker icon Aditya Agarwal (2nd for INR 17.50 Lac) in heads-up to win the Main Event.
The incredible AOPS series had an additional 15 Lac in leaderboard, which was eventually topped by the young gun Srihari Bang aka ‘zombieball’, who showed amazing consistency throughout the series. Bang, who shipped two tournaments (including AOPS Whale) and final-tabled more than a half dozen of events, topped the AOPS Leaderboard for 5 Lac prize. It was a good series for Bang as he finished the AOPS as the third most profitable player with close to INR 20 Lac in winnings.
Talking about his journey and what motivated him to grind and win the AOPS leaderboard, he said,”It feels great to top the AOPS leaderboard! The starting day I ended up shipping the AOPS Whale and then decided to grind for the leaderboard. I was running on the top for almost all days except for one.”
And sharing his thoughts about the AOPS on Adda52.com he said,“The structures of small tournaments were really good. It wasn’t a shove festival.”
Finishing runner-up on the AOPS Leaderboard was online reg –‘peushup’ who earned 3 lac for his efforts. He was followed by ‘xoredvoid’ (3rd for 2 Lac), Deepak Singh aka ‘Peacelover’ (4th for 1.5 Lac) and Anurag Srivastava aka ‘NormanBates’ who earned 1 Lac for his 5th place finish.
