WPT Online India Day 2: Vadlamani Denies Bansal Mini Highroller Title; Bhasin Takes Down PLO Championship

The INR 13.5 Crore GTD WPT Online India (WPTOI) powered by Adda52 made a smashing opening on November 5 with a whopping 3,546 entries coming in across nine events. Day 2 of the inaugural series also turned out to be an incredible day of poker action. A total of 3,201 entries came in, easily crushing the day’s INR 62.20 Lac guarantee and creating a massive INR 75.66 Lac in prizemoney.

Vadlamani & Bhasin Ship WPT Trophy Events To Steal The Spotlight

While some of the biggest names took to the virtual felt to unfold glory, stealing the spotlight were former Adda52 Millions winner Nagendra Vadlamani (won the 30 Lac GTD WPT India Mini High Roller to earn INR 8.75 Lac and a beautiful WPT trophy) and Harsh Bhasin (took down the 15 Lac GTD WPT India PLO Championship for INR 4.95 Lac and a WPT trophy). Thursday’s WPT Big Game champion Raghav Bansal came close to winning his second WPT Online India title but eventually finished runner-up to Vadlamani in the WPT India Mini High Roller, banking INR 5.10 Lac for his efforts.

30 Lac GTD WPT India Mini Highroller

To the delight of the high roller tournament lovers, the WPT Online India has several exciting highroller tourneys on its schedule. The first of them, the 30 Lac GTD WPT India Mini High Roller sportinga buy-in of INR 7500, took place yesterday. Kicking off at 8pm last night, the tourney wrapped up witha grand success, pulling in 535 entries to create a prizepool of INR 36.48 Lac.

After close 9 hours of intense play, walking away with the lion’s share was the former Adda52 Millions winner Nagendra Vadlamani aka ‘Doravad’ who banked an impressive INR 8.75 Lac, after denying Thursday’s WPT Big Game Champ Raghav ‘balugawhale’ Bansal (runner-up for INR 5.10 Lac) his second WPT Online title. Kanishka ‘kanishka27’ Samant (3rd for INR 3.46 Lac), Abhishek ‘dx23’ Rathod(4th for INR 2.73 Lac), Kamal ‘ksn123’ Naruka (5th for INR 1.82 Lac), and Nitin ‘bigbluffs’ Arora (6th for 1.27 Lac) were the other notables who posted FT scores in the biggest tourney of the day.

15 Lac GTD WPT India PLO Championship

The other featured tourney of the day, the 15 Lac GTD WPT India PLO Championship featuring a buy-in of INR 11K, also fared well drawing in a total of 177 hopefuls to crush its guarantee and create a hefty INR 17.70 Lac in total prizepool, which was eventually shared by the top 19 players.

After more than 9 hours of play, walking away with the title and uptop prize of INR 4.95 Lac was Harsh Bhasin aka ‘harshb_95’. Rachit ‘baba_ramdev’ Soni finished runner-up for INR 2.97 Lac. The final spot on the podium belonged to former Adda52 Team Pro Kunal ‘kunalpatni’ Patni (3rd place for INR 2.24Lac),while Harshit ‘Harshit114’ Sanghi (4th for INR 1.59 Lac),Sanat ‘mehro2511’ Mehrotra (5th for INR1.10 Lac), and Himanshu ‘pirateking7’ Arora (6th for 79,650) were the other FT finishers.

5 Lac GTD WPT Classic

The 5 Lac GTD WPT Classic, brought in 368 runners, generating INR 5.02 Lac in prizepool that was shared by the top 38 players. Sandeep Singh aka ‘pokesand’ shipped it for INR 1.25 Lac in top prize after outlasting ‘enigma89’ (runner-up for INR 76,101) in heads-up play. Jimmy ‘milliondollerdream’ Arora (4th for INR 40,186), Naresh ‘fireexit’ Rathnam (5th for INR 27,125), and Pratibh ‘MrGTO’ Saluja(7th for INR 15,070) were the other notable online MTT players who posted FT scores.

WPT Multiplier & WPT Late Night

There were two 3 Lac GTD tourneys on yesterday’s WPT Online India schedule. The first of the two, WPT Multiplier sporting a buy-in of INR 1,250 drew an impressive 350 entries to create a guarantee-crushing prizepool of INR 3.97 Lac, which finally got distributed among the top 38 players.

Devrat Singh aka ‘Vickypune’ came out on top to win INR 99,488 after defeating ‘Arunkumar199’ (runner-up for INR 60,289) in the heads-up match. Sajjan ‘HaiTohHai’ Barnwal (3rd for INR 43,775), Biplave ‘Bksingh1’ Kumar (4th for INR 31,836),Tanmay ‘tanmaybenara’ Benara (6thfor INR 14,923), and Vikranth ‘borntrouble’ Varma (7th for INR 11,939) were the other notables to post FT finishes.

The other 3 Lac GTD tourney, WPT Late Night kicking off at 11PM, found a winner in ‘Rup67tam’ who outlasted a field of guarantee-smashing field of 510 entries and banked INR 97,920 from 4.08 Lac in total collected prizepool. Mystery user “gongo” finished runner-up for INR 57,120 for his efforts.
