Dan Harmetz wins WSOP Circuit Main Event at Harveys Lake Tahoe

WSOP CircuitWhile the poker world was concentrating its energies on the 2013 WSOP Main Event Final Table, Dan Harmetz was busy collecting his first WSOP Circuit ring. The retired hedge fund manager won the main event of the Harveys Lake Tahoe WSOP Circuit event getting $128,699 and a free entry in the National Championship, to be held at Caesars Atlantic City in the spring.

The Main event lasted for three days where Dan Harmetz completely ruled the final table. It is only deserving that the final winner was the one who knocked off each and every player off the final table. Ryan Rinker has started the table as chip leader but ended in second spot behind Harmetz. Rinker earned $79,531 and Casino Champion honors for his finish. He will now meet Harmetz again in the National Championship to which both get entry.
