UK’s Ben “jenbizzle” Jones Ships #14-L $215 High Roller To Win Second Scoop Title

UK’s Ben “jenbizzle” Jones has taken down his second SCOOP title after emerging victorious from Event #14-L $215 High Roller. The player collected $162,039.38 for his grand win. “jenbizzle” was the last man standing from a field of 5,700 entrants, including 4,057 unique ones and 1,643 re-entries.

The tournament featured a massive guaranteed prize pool of $1 million, which easily got crushed. The event drew a massive field and crushed the specified guarantee to reach over $1.1 million prizepool.  While the winner got the lion’s share, the top 943 players made money in this event.

The marquee event attracted poker talent from various parts of the world. Day 1 of the tournament ended on Wednesday with 160 remaining players, who resumed action on Thursday to play down to a champion. The field was quickly reduced to just the final three eight-handed tables. Interestingly, there were 8 Brazilians who took part in this event. While 2 of them made it to the final table, one of them faced “jenbizzle” heads-up and eventually finished second for an impressive $115,504.57.

After “Dagdar” busting out in third place, it was heads-up between “jenbizzle” and Brazil’s “ivan limeira”. The duel began with the Brazilian player holding the chip lead.  “ivan limeira” lost his lead after the 26th hand. Later, “jenbizzle” won a 61 million pot to take the chip lead and never looked back.

The last hand saw the eventual winner’s pocket deuces clashing against his opponent’s As- Jh. The board ran blank with Qs- 9s-3s-7h-8d and “jenbizzle” won the coveted event to take down his second Scoop title from the popular online poker series.
