APT Vietnam 2018: Adda52 Team Pro Nikita Luther Bags Overall Chip Lead of Day 1A And Day 1B

The 2018 Asian Poker Tour (APT) Vietnam series running at Pro Poker Club located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam continues to attract big numbers. With its Main Event moving into the second starting flight, participation numbers soared high with 140 entries coming in to compete on Day 1B. A total of 52 players bagged chips from Day 1B to enter Day 2 and leading them was India’s first female WSOP bracelet winner Nikita Luther, who ended the day’s play bagging a huge stack of 422,300.

A total of 90 players made it to Day 2 from two starting flights of the main event and it was Adda52 Team Pro – Nikita Luther who led them all. She put up a brilliant performance to bag the overall chip lead of Day 1A and Day 1B with 422,300 in chips. Another Indian challenger who was among the top 10 on the leaderboard was Delhi’s Shashank Jain (213,600). Other Indian players who moved into Day 2 of the Main Event included Romit Advani (154,800) and Raghav Bansal (152,800).

Joining Luther, Advani and Bansal on Day 2 action will be seven other Indian players from the Day 1A flight, namely Apoorva Goel (194,500), Abhishek Panda (192,900), Abhinav Iyer (162,500), Vivek Rughani (140,700), Kanishka Samant (87,500), Manoj Pentakota (69,200) and Adda52 Team Pro – Kunal Patni (54,200). So, it is going to be a big poker tournament from India’s perspective!

Chasing Luther in stacks from Day 1B are 2016 APT Finale Macau Main Event winner – Soo Jo Kim (365,700), Quang Nguyen (301,100), Luong Anh Tuan (272,500) and Aso Seitaro (257,400).
