Michael Addamo Wins 2nd WSOP Bracelet In WSOPE €25,500 NLH Super High Roller For €848,702

The 2018 World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) has crowned another bracelet winner and this time it is Australia’s Michael Addamo. The Australian pro won the Event 8: €25,500 NLH Super High Roller on 25th October in the early morning hours at King’s Casino in Rozvadov. The event attracted a total of 133 entries and as a result the prize pool got tripled up with €3,158,750. The prizepool was shared by the top 20 players with Addamo taking down the lion’s share €848,702 for his victory.

It was second gold bracelet of the year 2018 for Addamo. This summer, he also won Event #24: The Marathon- $2,620 NLH for $653,581. In this tournament, he competed with Germany’s Christian Rudolph in heads-up, who battled till 6 am local time. After a roller-coaster ride at the very end, Addamo managed to secure his second bracelet and his best result on the live circuit for €848,702.

Rudolph reached his third WSOP final table in two years and narrowly missed out on his first bracelet in this event. Eventually, the player had to collect a consolation prize of €524,532.

Addamo, who had bagged the Day 1 chip lead, kept up his dominance, capitalizing on the momentum to win the second bracelet of the year. With this win, he has reached over $3 million in live tournament earnings. After Hanh Tran and Timur Margolin, he has become the third player in just eight events at the 2018 WSOPE to win a WSOP bracelet in Las Vegas and Rozvadov in the same year.

With the High Roller event over now, it is time for King’s Super Highroller, which brings the ninth WSOPE Bracelet for this festival. It features a GTD prize pool of €5,000,000 for a buy-in of €100,000. Sunday is set to witness the Final Table of this tournament, amid the exciting time of this fiesta.
