The first event of the week was the 6 Lac GTD Blaze on Monday. The INR 3300 buy-in event drew a total of 180 entries. The runner-up to finish in this event was the well-known grinder Shravan Chhabria ‘sweatmyass13’ and he walked away with INR 84,000. Top 19 players made money with a min-cash being INR 5K. Thursday brought the biggest highlight of the week – the 1 Crore GTD National Poker Champions that ran from 4th to 7th April and attracted a record-breaking field of 4,214 entries across three starting flights. After several days of his intense fights, it was eventually Ujjwal Narwal aka ‘fourteenk’ who shipped it to become India’s first-ever National Poker Champion. He earned INR 16 Lac in top prizemoney and thus emerged as the biggest winner of the last week from 1st to 7th April.
The runner-up to finish in the tournament was ‘tenfiveftw’ who pocketed a hefty INR 10,50,000 for his efforts. The final table of the event had some good regs in Kanishka Samant (3rd for INR 7,50,000), Arjanveer Chadha (4th for INR 5,00,000), Siddhanth Kapoor aka ‘bullzeyepower’ (5th for INR 3,88,280), Avneesh Munjal (7th for INR 2,00,000) and Hardik Shah (9th for INR 95k).

Sunday brought the second biggest tournament of the week – 30 Lac GTD Mega Suits. The 5500 buy-in event drew a huge field with 649 entries to easily crush the guarantee and create INR 32,45,012 in the final prizepool, which was shared by the top 72 players with a min-cash being INR 11,358. The winner to emerge in this tourney was a good reg in ‘strpkr95’ who defeated Rajesh Singh aka ‘phanthom’ to win the top prize of INR 7,46,350. Singh settled for INR 4,30,774 as 2nd place prize.

After several hours of tough fights, the tournament crowned a winner in Myron Pereira aka ‘zzzzz369’ who has cashed several popular tournaments on Adda52. Pereira reached heads-up with a good reg ‘VnutsG’ who gave a tough fight but could not go all the way, eventually finishing runner-up to Pereira who took home an impressive INR 5,56.000 in top prize.
A total of 21 places were paid in this event with a min-cash of INR 18,000. Some notables to finish in the money were ‘thegrinder’ (15th), ‘pkpok’ (16th), Akshay Nasa (18th) and ‘slotmachine’ (19th).
