APT Vietnam ME Day 1A: Doddanavar & Rughani Are Biggest Stacks Among 6 Indians Making Day 2

The Asian Poker Tour (APT) Vietnam is currently underway at the Pro Poker Club and yesterday saw  the first of three starting flights – Day 1A of the VND 22 Million buy-in Main Event VND featuring 8 Billion GTD (INR2.45 Crores) prizepool. The first starting flight drew a total field of 50 entries. After 9 levels of play, only 21 of them could advance to Day 2, and leading them was Australia’s Nguyen Duc Bien (125,000). Trailing him in second place was Vincent Chauve with 121,100 chips.

From Team India, a total of 6 Indians made it to Day 2 and they included the likes of UK-based pro Yasheel Dodddanavar (85,000) who recently hogged limelight for winning WPT India 100K High Roller, Vivek Rughani (79,400), DPT Colossus SHR Series 50K Warm-Up champion Meherzad Munsaf (72,900), Sahil Chutani (46,700), Laksh Pal Singh (44,900) and Maria Kirloskar (32,300).
