AOPS First 3 Days: Srihari Bang, Devang Yadav, Anurag Srivastava & Vaibhav Sharma Win Big!

With the incredible 5.2 Crore GTD Adda52 Online Poker Series (AOPS) kicking off this past Friday on 7th February 2020, the tournament action on India’s No. 1 Poker Site – – has picked up steam. Running all the way till 16th February, the 10-day long poker fiesta is getting an overwhelming response with poker players from across the country coming out in big numbers to join in. It has been action-packed 3 days with as many as 11 tournaments concluding and almost each of them comfortably crushing the specified guarantee. A total of 4700 + entries have been registered in the first three days and more than INR 1.45 Crore cumulative prizemoney has been distributed so far!   

So, let us take a quick tour of the ongoing Adda52 Online Poker Series (AOPS) first three days:

AOPS Day 3 (1900 + Entries)

Yesterday saw Day 3 of the ongoing AOPS and it was highlighted by some amazing tournaments, including AOPS Big Slick, AOPS Millions, Mega Suits Finale and Day 1A of the 25 Lac GTD AOPS Freeze. Headlining the action was the 50 Lac GTD Mega Suits, which was won by online regular Devang Yadav, who walked away with a hefty INR 12 Lac to emerge biggest AOPS winner of the day.

AOPS Big Slick 20 Lac GTD

The first tournament of the day to crown a winner was the 2500 buy-in AOPS Big Slick featuring an increased guarantee of 20 Lac. The tournament went on to easily crush its guarantee, pulling in 899 entries and generating INR 20,22,754 prizepool, the lion’s share of which went to online grinder Vaibhav Sharma aka ‘alienrobot’ who outlasted ‘Dr1313’ in heads-up to win INR 4.65 Lac prize.

Top 92 made money in the tournament with a min-cash of INR 5259. Some notables who finished deep included Sandeep Varma (3rd), Yohan Patel (5th), Rajat Sharma (6th), the AOPS Whale winner Srihari Bang (8th), Ashish Ahuja (9th), Sagar Choudhury (11th) and Dhaval Mudgal (21st) to name a few.

AOPS Millions 30 Lac GTD

Another AOPS event on the Sunday schedule was the 30 Lac GTD AOPS Millions featuring INR 11K buy-in. Starting at 8 pm, the event attracted a field of 357 entries to easily crush its specified guarantee and create a whopping INR 35,70,000 prizepool, which was shared by top 38 finishers. Topping the filed was online crusher Anurag Srivastava aka ‘normanbates who locked horns with ‘Aarchit’ in heads-up and went on to win the title for INR 8.92 Lac. Anurag was the biggest winner last night as he not only shipped the Mega Suits but also won The Millionaire Main Event on Spartan.

Also making it to the final table were some notables in Guneet Kwatra (3rd), Sahil Mahboobani (4th) and Arsh Grover (6th). Other notables finishing deep included the likes of Pranav Bang (7th), Shagun Jain (9th), Dhaval Mudgal (11th), Mihir Thakkar (13th), Abhishek Goindi (15th), last night’s Big Slick winner Vaibhav Sharma (16th), Ritesh Tripathi (17th), Ashish Munot (18th), Abhinav Iyer (19th), etc.

50 Lac GTD Mega Suits Finale

The most-awaited event on the AOPS schedule yesterday was the 50 Lac GTD Mega Suits Finale that drew a massive field with 1213 entries across three starting flights to comfortably surpass its specified guarantee and generate INR 60.65 Lac prizemoney. A total of 111 players qualified for the finale and 110 among them made money. The largest share of the prizepool went to the well-known grinder Devang ‘spark123’ Yadav who defeated none other than Danish ‘king0fmerge’ Shaikh in the heads-up to walk away with a hefty INR 12 Lac prize. Shaikh eventually settled for INR 7.12 Lac.

Some notables who finished deep in the marquee event included Kanchan Sharma (5th), Siddharth Mundada (9th), Ashish Ahuja (10th), Gaurav Sood (11th), Vaibhav Sharma (12th), Sagar Choudhury (14th), Pranay Chawla (15th), Zarvan Tubmoli (16th), Yohan Patel (17th), Chirag Bhardwaj (20th), Sumit Saurav (23rd), Anuj Yadav (25th), Anmol Mehta (26th), and Kartik Ved (29th) to name a few.

AOPS Day 2 (1400 + Entries)

The 8th February marked Day 2 of the ongoing AOPS on While the day featured several high-value events, the most prominent among them all was the 4400 buy-in AOPS Holdem High with 10 Lac GTD prizepool. Like other events on the schedule, the tournament pulled in an impressive 282 entries, which helped to comfortably crush the tournament’s guarantee and create INR 11.28 Lac prizepool, the lion’s share of which went to Ameya Gokhale aka ‘Volcy’. Ameya locked horns with Karan Radia aka ‘Reg_Slayer’ in HU and went on to dominate to win the title for INR 2,88,768.

Top 30 were paid and some notables to run ran deep were Dhaval Mudgal (4th), Anirban Das (5th), Abhishek Garg (6th), Deepak Bothra (12th), Chiraag Patel (14th), and Sagar Choudhury (16th).

Other Winners From Day 2

The other events on the schedule of the day were AOPS Warm-Up with 2.5 Lac GTD prizepool and AOPS Siesta with 1.5 Lac GTD prizepool. It was online reg Anuj Yadav aka ‘anuj25395’ who shipped the Warm-Up event for INR 80,989, while the AOPS Siesta was taken down by ‘jason911’ for INR 51,791 prize. The last event of the day was AOPS Knockout and it was won by Rajat Sharma aka Oshoswami who defeated 274 entries including ‘gongo’ in heads-up to pocket INR 64,828.
