On Thursday, the marquee series awarded its 9th gold ring in Event #9: $100K GTD Online Finale Circuit NLHE which was ultimately taken down by the female player Kami “Loco4coco” Hudson who bested a strong field of 681 entries (422 unique entries and 259 re-buys) to claim the coveted top prize of $50,053, her first WSOP Circuit ring, and a guaranteed spot in the online Global Casino Championship.
The runner-up spot eventually went to Chance “BingShui” Kornuth (2nd for $28,091), while John “phenomajohn” Lytle took the final spot on the podium, finishing third for $17,161 prizemoney. Also at the final table were the skilled players in Brock “ohmyguan” Wilson (5th for $11,032), Ryan “hagzzz021” Hagerty (6th for $8,989), and Andrew “randylerch” Kelsall who finished 8th for $4,494.
The total field of the tournament resulted in a prize pool of $204,300 that was paid out to the top 75 players with a min-cash starting at $653.Other notables to cash the tournament were Indian-origin Shankar “burgersssss” Pillai (10th – $2,247), Ryan “WHOSYOURDODD” Dodd (13th – $2,247), Ankush “rickrosstheb” Mandavia (17th – $1,634), and Jeffy “mavsusc” Platt who finished 61st for $653.
