It was a big day on Tuesday for Day 17 of the 25 Crore GTD WPT Online India (WPTOI) on Adda52. The day’s schedule had as many as 10 tournaments running, with 8 of them crowning champions. Online MTT crusher Laksh Pal Singh aka “BoomTilt23” topped the day’s charts as he took down the biggest guaranteed tournament of the day, the 22.50 Lac GTD WPT Tuesday Feature 8 Max, to win an impressive INR 5.40 Lac (the single largest score of the day) and his career-first WPT Trophy. Singh outlasted a strong field of 543 entries in the tourney, including Monday`s WPT Table for 6 winner Pradip “Nit2Donk” Ghosh (2nd for INR 3,15,000) in the heads-up battle for the title.
Jyoti “joey114114” Ranjan Nayak (3rd for INR 2,13,750), Nadeem “nadeem0021” Basha (4th for INR 1,68,750), Akshay “Powershell” Asawa (6th for INR 78750), & Debapriya “debapriya_12345” Manna (7th for 56,250) were the other notables ending their run on the WPT Tuesday Feature final table.
8 Lac GTD WPT Mini 6-Max
The second biggest tourney playing down to a winner on Day 17 of the WPTOI series, the 8 Lac GTD WPT Mini 6-Max, fared better than the WPT Tuesday Feature, pulling in 423 entries and generating a prize pool worth INR 8.46 Lac. Walking away with the title and top prize was Himanshu Bagdwal aka “baagdi” who banked INR 1.72 Lac. He eventually struck a heads-up deal with WPT Monday Feature winner Naresh Veeravalli aka “emperor457” who walked away with INR 1.65 Lac as the runner-up.
Mohit “Gandiaa” Dhingra (5th for INR 43,992) & Mitesh “mit2015” Gupta (6th for INR 29,610) were the other notable MTT regs ending their run on the final table of the 10 PM Tuesday tourney.
1 Crore GTD WPT India Unreal Flight 17
Running alonside the WPT Tuesday Feature was Flight 17 of the 1 Crore GTD WPT Unreal. The 17th flight of the INR 499 buy-in event pulled in an impresssive 735 entrants, and 72 of them made the cut for Day 2. Shekhar Singh aka “Brat_Poker” (544,475), “sass1920” (412,298 chips), “tjs4297″ (412,233),”vijjus24” (357,444) & “hardikharpal” (351,980) topped the day-end chip counts.
1 Crore GTD WPT Quad 9 Day 1B
Also running alongside the WPT Tuesday Feature was Day 1B of the 1 Crore GTD WPT Quad 9. The second flight of the INR 9999 buy-in event drew 129 entries and only 13 players advanced to Day 2. Online reg Aniket Waghmare aka “anteman” (292,984) bagged the end of the day chip lead, with “dharanvallabhaneni” (257,052) & Sahil “ImHighIshove” Mahboobani (229,080) rounding out the top three stacks. The event has gathered 197 entries across its two flights, with 6 more flights still to go.
Arindam “darkhorse94” Nayak (won 4 Lac GTD WPT Classic for INR 1 Lac), last night’s WPT Tuesday Feature 8 Max runner-up finisher Pradip Ghosh aka “Nit2Donk” (won 4 Lac GTD WPT Multiplier for INR 91,430), Jimmy “milliondollerdream” Arora (won 4 Lac GTD WPT Hustle for INR 88,788), WPT Saturday Special winner Yash “Babyshark21” Chitre (won 3 Lac GTD WPT Late Night PKO for INR 75,000), “rajesh_asi” (won 2.75 Lac GTD WPT Alpha for INR 60,896), & “BOSS10” (won 2 Lac GTD WPT Daily Warmup for INR 54,900) were the other WPTOI tourney title winners on Tuesday.
